  1. Do not know what happened. Have not bought geocoins for months. Wanted to go to bed (Europe), last email check and before i new it i had some baby dragons ordered
  2. Still patiently waiting, one day it will show up at my door
  3. Did not see that my 2 missions are received They are on their way for 4 weeks and usually it takes about 10 days.
  4. Today a real big box arrived! Bunnies are always welcome. Since we thought the first mission was for Jetske we thought this would be for Millie. We opened the box and all the funny easter stuff popped out! We could laugh again because between all the candy we found peanutbutter cups! Something you will not find in Holland. The coins are lovely, the only thing is that Jetske is demanding the turtle, she says it fits better in her collection (with her birthday mission she got 2 other turtles) and this one really is cute. Thank you very much Firefly for you nice mission.
  5. Yesterday the mailman gave us a nice box from the States. It was the easter mission of Jetske. It is always fun to open a box, but this one was very special! It was made with attention with all the lovely hand sewn easter stuff and the shaped animal coins for Jetske. I have to work with my balloons in a restaurant tomorrow, but now I can decorate my own easter table with these nice bunnies. The snicker egg did not make it to the picture. Tasted good! What about peanutbutter eggs? Only Americans can do something like that Thank you very much USyoopers this mission was a real treat!
  6. Our 2 missions are in the mail! Hope they have a safe trip.
  7. April names are mixed and mailed to the participants. Have fun preparing the missions and I'm waiting for the first march missions to see.
  8. I somehow missed this coin. A nice one! Came in to read beacuse i saw that my missionfriend fscout posted. Congratulations Fran! You already have a nice collection now.
  9. March birthday cachers have been mixed and details are mailed! Still spots available for April.
  10. A few more days to sign up for march birthday coiners
  11. We need some more cachers for this mission! It is fun to participate in this mission, both sending and receiving it.
  12. Next period is opened: Calling all March and April Birthday boys and gals… This mission is for you! If you have a birthday later in the year, then please be patient ~ your turn will come…. To participate: You must be willing to send two (2) unactivated geocoins to one participant. You must be a registered user in these forums with some history of posting. If you have a birthday in March or April and want to be part of this mission please send me a message through my GC.com profile. (millieballon) Include in your message: Geocaching Name Birthdate (you may include your age you are turning if you like) Real Name Address Are you willing to mail outside your country? Or global region? (Note some people don’t get this option, unfortunately, due to being the only one in their country signed up) Do you have a seeking list? If so, where. If not, are there any coins you'd like to own? What are your interests? This will help your "gifter" in assembling a fun package! NOTE: Please do not ask me to assign you a certain individual, the missions will be assigned at random. What you need for this mission 1. Be prepared to mail in time, a birthday mission to a recipient. (some leeway given for early January birthdays given the time crunch) 2. Include 2 unactivated and trackable Geocoins (you may send more) 3. Add birthday goodies and treats as per the lists below. 4. Wrap it up, box it or package it and send it. Birthday Missions should include something from the lists below. The best mission would be one item from each group (two geocoins though) THIS MISSION IS ALSO FAMILY FRIENDLY ~ please consider that when selecting gifts. GROUP A (requires at least 2) Regular unactivated Geocoin (This can be upgraded) GROUP B (optional extra) Pathtag Micro geocoins Caching pins TB tags and Geocoin buddies GROUP C (optional) Caching related items GROUP D (optional) Personal signature items Regional souvenir Postcard of your area GROUP E (optional) Novelty item or toy. GROUP F Birthday card or tag. International missions should omit any seeds and plant material. These "groups" are to help as a guide on what to include ~ especially for those who have not participated in a birthday mission before. You may also wish to check out last year's mission: 2009 Birthday Mission NAMES FOR MARCH IN ASAP – I will start allocating missions on the 1th of March. NAMES FOR April IN BY 15th of March.
  13. My mission is in the mail! Have we found a new mission coordinator for march / april already? If not i would like to give it a try.
  14. Have not done much because of an ordinary flue, so I'm late posting my picture. Mission received well before my birthday, but I was brave enough to resist. So I opened the box from Canada on the right day. Thank you very much Turletortue. It was fun to open all the presents. Really like the Fimo sheep, but i'm also looking forward to wear the pathtag button on the Dutch mega event. (See, small things can make people happy) When I uploaded the picture today remembered the chocolate. So i just finished it. Normally we do not have much snow in Holland, but this year we had so much that the snowman coin feels at home. The mission I have to send will be sent in a few days
  15. Just found this topic today. Probably to late, but woud like to join. Maybe a 2nd group?
  16. Still playing in mission 1. Must be patient with such a large group.

  22. I do not know how many pathtags you have had in your hands. But I do like them. As in all things there are good ones and less well designed ones. Limititation of a pathtag is the size. So one thing to keep in mind is not adding to much detail. You can add some translucent colors, sometimes they have offers with glow in the dark or glitter. Only one thing for sure they will be round. I also have another signature tag made and i'm very happy with the outcome. Keeping the design simple it is very clear. Because of the low price they are easy to make, to trade and leave them in caches to make other geocachers happy with something they may keep. You're welcome to have a look at my collection when you visit the Netherlands.
  23. Okay, my coins will be in tomorrows mail on their way to Kentucky. My missionfriend fscout will release a Dutch 2009 geocoin (TB3BGTX) and the other coin (TB2Z954) will travel together, attached to a coin of Fscout. Will be fun to see if these will reach their destination. Do we need to sepcify a cache it need sto travel to in Montana?
  24. Millie wants to join. Will post later which coins will come into your direction. Have emailed a US geocache friend if she wants to release them for me. Love to see if they can reach your destination.
