Here's an easy way to see the inventory at the REI stores: http://www.rei.com/search?query=Groundspeak To avoid shipping charges, you can order stuff to be shipped to an REI store near you. You go there and take a look at the stuff after it arrives. If you like it, you can buy. If not, no sweat.

Have you seen what's new lately? We're adding a new t-shirt of the month program that starts this month. Each month we'll release a fun new geocaching shirt!

REI carries stuff that is officially from Shop Geocaching as well as a world of other outdoor supplies of course. As far as how much inventory they carry, it depends on how large that REI store happens to be. At the one near me (the Seattle flagship), their display looks something like this, below. This was taken at the end of President's Day weekend after a big sale which might explain the light volume. You get an idea of product availability, at least.

Sylven - You can check with our official Groundspeak distributors - though most are operated through their websites rather than brick and mortar stores. I don't know if there's a store near you but REI also carries Groundspeak merchandise, including travel bugs.

We're currently looking into options for these. The trick is finding a way to make these with the unique tracking number and still keep them affordable. If anyone has any good ideas for this, we'd be happy to hear them. For now, as MissJenn said, we do have some official Groundspeak distributors that currently carry travel bug hats and shirts. Please keep the ideas coming for products you'd like to see in the Shop. Post here or email shop@Groundspeak.com with your suggestions!
