In the front of the hosipital they have a garden and I was trying to get some accurate coordinates but my GPSr was out about 30 metres each time. If anyone is down in the area can you post your coordinates please. I am going down again I am looking for an average thank you thank you thank you
  5. So is there? I know different models have different features but will the average user/geocacher know the differece? also does the updates from garmin negate the difference?
  6. It is also interesting that the flyer has the 400 and 500 listed at the same price which is weird no?
  7. I know the big feature of the Colorado is that you can share caches with other Colorado users wireless but can you transmit from a Colorado to an Oregon?
  8. So I mainly use my handheld for caching, actually that is all I use it for. I have become addicted to paperless after using the eXplorist 500 LE and now looking to go to the garmin line. So what really is the difference? I know that one is a touch screen but is there really any other features that I might be missing from one to the other? As well how do there wear? meaning I heard that the wheel has popped off a bunch of Colorados and the screen is poor on the oregeon in direct light? any other downfalls? how is the reception in comparison for both and as well is it the same paperless software for both?
  9. HI I am thinking about moving the the Garmin 60 from a Magellin eXplorist 500 LE. I do have some concerns and am hoping people can set me up With my Magellan, it can with software (cachemanager I think) and it allows he to down load the caches and then upload them onto the GPS unit. It will record Cache info such as diffictuly, owner and such. It will also allow me to mark the cache as found. will the Garmin have these features or something similar OR will I have to print all of it off?
  10. So I have been looking at a new Garmin and really solely use it for Geocaching. I was reading that the Geocaching software on the GPSMAP is geobuddy and was wondering if anyone had any reviews? I have use the eXplorist software and it was ok not great (cut off hints if they were beyond a certain character length, and didn't give much info like last found or size of the cache.... So is geobuddy good, average, what are the downfalls and the pluses?
