you could change the lock every month or two. Use 3 or 4 different locks in a rotation. That way, the 'public' will throw out the combination when it's reported to not work any longer. They won't remember it by the time you go back to that particular lock.

This is a great idea. Wish I thought of it!

Here are the steps to put the pictures on the posts:

• Log on at Geocache Home
  
• Click my cache page on the left side
  
• Click change your account information
  
• Scrool down to Photo (under my profile)
  
• If you didn't upload your picture click uploaded any images yet. Otherwise go to next step
  
• In the box with the arrow beside your avatar image click the arrow and select the picture you want
  
• Enter your password at the top of the page
  
• Click modify my account

We are pondering about placing a cache on Ordinary Point at Sassafrass River in Maryland. The problem is that there is no accessibility by land. Would this pass as a eligble cache?
