  1. I have 1087 caches in my Sony Clie and have room for thousands more (it's got 15 M total and not using anywhere near the limit).
  2. It's probably because you shot that buffalo!
  3. Yeah, but you get the shakes far too frequently for me.
  4. I'm inclined to agree with Sparky-Watts, regards the "better class". I'm sure there are many who pay, but don't trade up, etc. and many non-members who do. But, I do agree with the concept of giving back to those who contribute to the game.
  5. Is none. I deleted Mobipocket from my PDA. Don't need it.
  6. I was getting ready to reply, but clearpath and and Chris S pretty much said it all.
  7. I guess one could go to their local street pharmacy. I'm sure they have a good supply of small sturdy zip locks.
  8. SNOW!! Omigawd!! I love Florida! I don't care how humid it gets!
  9. But can the inventor of the internet, AG?
  10. I also just edited one, about an hour ago, no problems.
  11. I don't understand why some people feel that they may quit geocaching, or "give up my premium membership" because a cache is not approved. It seems that if someone truly enjoys this sport/activity that they would just move on and try another. Oh well.
  12. ... that's because he's not so subservient!
  13. I use GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) and Cachemate. An unbeatable combination (at least for me).
  14. I thought you wanted "...an actual answer...instead of...cheap shots? Sounds like you need to take aim, because everyone who disagrees with you or says something you don't like gets a shot fired at them.
  15. I'm using a Sony Clie SJ-22 and a Legend. Works like a charm.
  16. I live in Florida, but my sister and brother-in-law live in Statesboro. I'm somewhat surprised that with GSU there, that there is only one cache in the vicinity. The next closest is almost 17 miles away and only 5 within a 30 mile radius. Unfortunately, I can't get them (sister/brother-in-law) excited about geocaching. When I'm up to visit, and they're at work, would be a great time to go caching, but virtually nothing local. I wish some people in the area would get involved, so I had some caches to look for whenever I'm up.
  17. Rhetoric. Yet, you can spell pontification?
  18. So why are you trolling for one then? I can't get my batteries out Seems like issues with all brands, yes, no? edited to add link to Mag problem.
  19. I've used fish and lures for trolling before. Didn't know you could troll with frogs?
  20. I'm a Clie owner and agree with the suggestion of GSAK and Cachemate. The $7.00 for Cachemate is money well spent, and the free GSAK is great.
  21. 0 - 10 miles 94 10.1 - 20 miles 70 20.1 - 30 miles 139 30.1 - 40 miles 248 Only 57 finds so far. Got a lot to find before I have to go far. I think I'm lucky. And with the ocean nearby. I could only imagine if I could go east 40 miles how many I might have. And there are some quality caches in these too.
  22. I'm in agreement with the Cachemate and GSAK advocates. Tried the others, but staying with this combo.
  23. I know what you're talking about. I hit 50 a week ago yesterday, up to 57 now. I'm really not into it for the numbers, yet, it feels good to hit a milestone. Congrats and happy cachin' to ya.
  24. I think it is pretty much accepted practice for both to log it as a find. The best way is for the actual finder to step away from the find, announce the s/he found it, and let the partner now find it. This way, both parties truly found it on their own. Of course, if you work as a team, for me at least, it seems to usually balance out as to who actually first finds it. We don't usually do the step away, announce routine, we just both log, although it is an option. edited to add second paragraph.
