  3. I am in the process of compliling some of the most extreme adventure-based caches in the world! I need your help! What and where are some extreme caches that you have either completed or heard about. I am looking for cache that could possibly include some/any/all of the following: rock climbing, mountain biking, caving/spelunking, rappelling, swimming, SCUBA diving, sea kayaking, mountaineering, canyoneering, etc. Usually, I expect most caches of this nature may fall into a 5 star category, but that is not required. Also, if a cache does not have an element of adventure sports, it may also be considered extreme if it is a multi-day cache hunt! Thanks for your help! I can't wait to see and hear your suggestions! 10. I agree with Ltljohn....TUBE TORCHER would leave you flatlanders crying into next week.....if you can make it 1/4 of the way through it! [] While you boys sit in your bedrooms, dens, and cubicles typing ABOUT geocaching, Laughing Moon and I are running 6,000 ft peaks, scrambling down precipitious gorge walls, and slogging through hellacious YET beautiful, terrain (not asphalt) PLACING AND FINDING extreme and creative caches. But if you think we are weak on the urban side, think again....20th place out of 97 teams in Atlanta's Urban Challenge race ..( a form of extreme caching!) but I haven't even started...Ltljohn, Spyder, and what about Crotalus Rex and the rest of the Smoky Mountain Extreme Team!?!?!? [:0] ....hmmmmm...you may have opened up a nasty dose of Pandora's Box with your nonchalant attitude regarding the WEST....shame on you... I hope for the sake of all eastern flatlanders, you have an excuse not to invite a team from Asheville........ Wanderlust has spoken....... NEW member of Smoky Mountain Extreme Team

  12. I am definitely not new to the game nor uploading pics of some of my hunts to the cache pages. However, I do not know how to modify one of my photos that is larger than 100k to make it acceptable for the cache page. Any suggestions? Thanks, Wanderlust
  13. How about CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE GEOCACHER'S SOUL? Hmmm..... Wanderlust
  14. Also , check this one out ...RUMBLING BALD ADVENTURE CACHE. It was placed by the same guy who did TUBE TORCHER...Crotalus Rex. He and his Smoky Mountains Extreme Team are responsible for placing some very exciting and challenging caches in our region. In this one, you enter the deep and dark bowels of a VERY rocky mountain. Caving, darkness, and climbing...how much more fun yet difficult can it get! Wanderlust
  15. The most difficult cache I have encountered yet would have to be TUBE TORCHER located near Asheville, NC. You can go there and read the logs. It's relatively new, but it is INSANE! Tight tubes, DARKNESS, dizzying heights, mazes of tunnels...whew, it exhausts me just remembering it! Wanderlust
  16. Could someone give me advice on how to create a link to a cache's report page from one of the posts? Thanks, Wanderlust
