Wherigo Geocoin information: The icon has been uploaded as of this past Friday. The coin is minted in satin nickel with imitation hard enamel, 1.75" x 3.5mm thick It is unlikely that we'll order other metals in the near future. At ShopGroundspeak, we will not be adding a paypal payment option at this time. Since we do not ship internationally (except to distributors), when we add new products, it usually take 1-2 weeks for most of the distributors to order them and get them in stock. If you are interested in ordering any products, especially new ones, please mention it to your local distributor and they can order them for you. Upgrading to a PM account does not require agreement to different terms than a regular membership. However, use of Pocket Query functionality does require agreement to a separate data license agreement, and there may eventually be other site features that require separate agreement. If any member (PM or otherwise) is violating portions of the TOU, they may subject to access restrictions. If someone cancels a PM upgrade, it will not cancel their basic their membership. They just won't be a premium member.

Actually, we met at a dotcom that sold men's clothing both online and in a retail store. Since people didn't really buy clothing online (at the time), the dotcom crashed and burned along with many of the other dotcoms. We all moved on together to work at the promotional product marketing company until we could generate enough revenue to hire ourselves to work fulltime at Groundspeak.

I for one know they are trying to help the end customer get the product they have paid for and if that means Groundspeak has to front codes with the hope of getting their money back it seems as if they are willing to do so. That does not say the same thing as "Groundspeak would like me to get back on my feet...". It is true, Groundspeak would like to see them get back on their feet, despite the numerous challenges ahead. However, that is not our primary concern. We are willing to accept this risk primarily because we believe that it will help to get the geocoins into the customer's hands faster. I asked Jim to send a full update to his customers, including mention of Groundspeak's action, so that they would know that progress was being made and that we are doing what we can to help out. I looked up the "The Coin Pirate" account and was able to match it to another account in our system. Unfortunately, neither account has visitied the site in 2008. I've banned both accounts with a note to have Groundspeak staff contact me if we receive any contact from the owner of these accounts...

Thanks for identifying these issues. 1. The form has been updated to include the underlined information. All entries received prior to the update will remain eligible (to the extent that they meet the other eligibility requirements stated in the official contest rules). 2. The rules relate to promotion entries only, not geocoins. So, anyone who obtains a geocoin or discovers a geocoin can enter the promotion by completing the form one time only. If you obtain more than one geocoin, you may activate it and place it in a cache so that others can discover it and enter the promotion.

All of the Big Ben Geocoins are the same. There is nothing sinister, or ARG-style, going on. It is unfortunately just a geocoin design and review error on our part.

Please let me know where you found the url (http://garminuk.geocaching.com/activate/link) so that we can look into the issue and hopefully address it. If you use the 'Activate a Geocoin' section on this page: http://garminuk.geocaching.com, you shouldn't have the 'page not found' issue. Also, the activation code is included on that page directly below the tracking number entry field. I hope this helps.
