  11. I've not been broken into YET but it's probably only a matter of time. It actually interfears with my searching because i start worrying if the car/contents (car always empty but they don't know that) will be there when i get back! I look for tell tail signs.. like broken glass on the ground.... if i think it's too risky....i leave the mrs in the car....they can have her Mart I'll denie that last statement in court, of course!
  12. Nice one Ali ... both reach 400 same weekend, but watching your track record i expect to see only tail lights as you pull away Mart
  13. If i set out to find a cache there are 3 possible out comes...... 1) found it so log it as a find 2) DNF, i was at the cache site but couldn't find it for one reason or another so logged as a DNF. 3) Couldn't get to the cache site for some reason ie firing range in operation, people picnicing on the cache etc then i'd log it as a note because i set out to get it but couldn't actually look for it so therefore i don't know if i was able to find it...or not... So i always log something. Mart

  16. Yep i've a friend to who has only logged 2 caches though he's done more... one in Cuba no less. He now seems to think that it's too late to log them because they were a while ago. Mart Yes i'm talking about YOU John Mc
  17. Hope this sorts out the problem....GC com bought up an error code whilst trying to log a TB on Sunday.... i ended up with NO tb in the cache i'd removed it from and NO tb in my account to drop off!!! Took 2hrs to finally sort it out aaarrrgh. Mart

  19. 1200!!!! Brilliant Nearly cleared the country then...... well maybe not... give it another six months ! Congratualations Mart
  20. I'm happy to use both. I had teething troubles at first as i'd always used my GPS on OSGB before I got into caching...hadn't realised what a difference WGS84 made. I know some caches that use OSGB co-ords as part of multi-cache clues, its only a couple of key presses to switch datums. When doing multi-caches i often switch between datum so i can mark on an OS map where i need to go and the paths i need to follow. As for tourists..... if they read cache pages first before coming.....it would give them some time to research the OSGB datum which to be honest is quite an easy datum to understand. Mart
