So, you are saying release something else with the same tracking # on it?? I have some personalized wooden nickels -- could I put the tracking # on one of those and release that?? It would seem like if you had a photo or something that was to do with the coin on one side of the nickel it would work but I am not 100% sure so i will keep an eye on this post and this could be a good idea to help Chapski1

I do if Trackables are sitting there to long or it has one I really want or can help it with its goal. I go Caching with a lot of diffent people so I do end up going to some of the same ones. I do not log them more then once. I also go to mine alot to check on them.

This is another choice you have but you will need some info from the person that purchased it. My activation code was missing/stolen/eaten by a pack of wolves. How do I get a new one? If this happens, email contact@geocaching.com and reference your Bug's tracking number and the invoice number from the location where you purchased the Travel Bug.

It Should be on the bag it came in and if you do not have that ask the person that bought it or ask one of his friends that got one at the same time as somtimes the codes are the same. Good luck on this and let me know if it does not work and i will find out more options for you.

Everyone is right it is yours to do with as you want and I think it is a great idea to release it so others can enjoy it but if it is that special to you then it may be a good idea to keep it or order another one so one can be with you and the other one can travel and it will slove all your issues.

I am so happy for you Lori on getting this coin that reminds me so much of you.

Take copys of it for your self and then attach a TB to the log book and set it free for every to enjoy.

I second that emotion LoriDarlin has got to be one of the most deserving of this coin! I agree all the way with this and i will post for my first time on this thread for my heart desire for Lori Darlin to Receive a geo bandit coin.

The only way i have been able to find night caches is to ask other cachers at events and most geocachers do not go to events or know how to do a quarry to find one. It would be fair for eveyone and so easy to make the ICON

Garmin is the only way to go and I prefer anyone with With a usb port and a memory card.

I would love to see this put in place because I love to night cache and doing a quarry would be neat for night caching. I am working on some night caches and I was going to do them as a multi cache and give the coords at the first cache so you can find it by day or use your lights for night. If this does go through I would be out there putting up several night caches in my area. I have not done any yet but I have spoke to my reviewer about them. I am going to wait and see what happens here before I do any.

I am going to be working on my own soon and do 50/50 like you have recieved. Some cachers like it and some dont so to me this will take care of the issue. I may try and do something different on one when i get to that point so it is a little different. I cant wait to do mine but I have to much on the fire right now so it will be early next year.
