River Cacher

Somehow i just noticed this thread and i will be helping out as much as i can with getting and collecting items to send to you. I have some myself but i will contact other local geocachers to see if they will help with items. Thanks for the support.

What kind of camera is it?? Remember that for close ups, absolute stillness is a must. When the focus is so close, even moving a Milimeter will cause it to be out of focus. I usually hold the Camera firmly against some object for stability. It is a Nikon but i am not sure the model off the top of my head. I am thinking of making a stand that i can sit the camera on. This way they will be real steady shots that are fast and easy to do. I hope.

I got a new camera that is supposed to be good on close ups for Geocoins. I hope to get it figured out soon.

I would like to thank everyone for the fun me and my kids had with this and we cant wait until next year. I have a bunch of photos to post and i will get them on as soon as i can. A very HUGE thanks goes out to Chur for the wonderful advent package of 30 presents. This is just one of many photos and we even took the presents on Vacation with us and opend one present a day. We even got a tree to take on vacation and decorated our condo with lights and all. My GeoResolution is to make more Geocoins.

You know You Are A Gecoin Addict When Your First and Second Grader kids try to explain to there teachers and classmates all the time about these new Geocoins they got or made.

I used to wait a month and now i wait 6 months to a year before i get worried. Make sure you are nice when you do contact them and i would wait longer so you do not get them upset by replying to fast. I hope you the best of luck on your new item out there and i would suggest releasing more so when one is stuck you will have others moving. If it does stop and you get no replys do not give up on your item as i have had some missing for over a year then they come back. Good luck.

MY GeoResolution is to switch my Yahoo mail to Gmail so i get all of my Geocaching stuff and other emails.

Wow that would be to easy for me as i am just a few away from hitting that mark and i just may go do it today HUMMMM MY GeoResolution is to start logging my finds!!

Cool now i will have a Valentine present. Wait i have no Valentines besides my kids. Time to go hunting for my Valentine.

I remember some time ago posting a response or email to hold me some coins here on the forum. I have never heard anything more and do not feel like digging through all my post and or emails to try and find out what one it was. Did i ask someone to hold me some ? Did i get a email sent to me ? Did i lose a email ? I use Yahoo and it happens. Do i forget things ? YES I DO I hope i have not forgot any orders out there and i would hate to see my name put on a bad list and not know anything about it. I do agree there is issues out there and something does need to be done and maybe the deposit would be a best thing. Maybe putting money out would help the memory some. Maybe it won't. I do get Coins in the mail and then think wow i bought one of these. LOL

I was on the phone yesterday and they were getting just a few out in the mail and they would get more out today. I got lucky and mine shipped as well. I am going out of town and I hope it makes it here by tomorrow so i do not have to wait around til the mail comes Monday. It would be nice to have the coins and other stuff with me as i am cohosting a Geocaching Event. Cant wait to get them and get out of town.

I hope i am on the backup list. I have a 19 year old daughter that had faded away from Geocaching but she is slowly coming back to enjoying the sport as her boyfriend thinks it is fun. She has always loved the mood ring jewelry and this would be perfect for her.

The one you need is the Rainbow Bridge coin from dorkfishcoins I think they are sold out. I just got rid of my last one and you may have to keep an eye out on ebay. I will let you know if i can find one.

There is still more to show up and i still have a few more to decide what to do with. I think every Geocacher out there deserves a UR#1 Geocoin for some reason or another but i can only do so many for now. I am glad to see everyone is enjoying the thread and i hope soon i will be able to make the green balloon and give out more of those as well. Next time they will be a LE for this thread only. Have you checked your mail lately ?
