  1. Have you considered clear cutting as an alternative? Takes longer but when your done the cache is easy to find.
  2. Pirates of the Caribean..the ultimate reverse moving multicache.
  3. Turn it over? I had the same problem with my 500. The manual says DO NOT use rechargables. Joy. I like the 500, and it has worked great (except the nimh thing) since September, but I will most likely switch to 60c or cs this Spring. Most of the negative things I have read here about the Cobra are based on missinformation or missunderstanding. Lots of folks who have never held a Cobra GPSr trash talk it. To each his own. It is a fine unit and has guided me to over 70 caches in 6 months accross 7 States without a failure or problem (except the nimh thing). Cache on!
  4. Just not animal noises. I suppose my Wonderbread and Mayo costume will have to stay in the closet this spring as well.
  5. They are not they are mine from the transmitter I implanted in your brain...now kill the mouse...I SAID kill the mouse and the... Um sorry, sorry everyone I got a little carried away. Hah! Now I am wearinhg one of these. Ahh Blessed Silence, kill the mouse, Silence.
  6. I am not sure if I speak out loud or if it is in my head. Come to think of it I am not completely sure all of the voices in my head are even mine.
  7. Cache contents: one soggy cigar and a stained blue dress (Sorry Bill, still luv ya) ROFLMAO!
  8. I am the hamster. They are the hamsters. I am the Reptile. Coo-Coo-Ca-Cho. Seriously, most of my anxiety dreams involve suffocation of some sort. I think that it is a clausterphobia issue, must get out more. I'd like to thank Lep for adding being trapped in an ammo box to the gasping clawing darkness that is my own personal hell.
  9. Yeah, in India. This is so true it hurts, literally. Let me share my recent experience. Near the end of November the IT consulting firm I worked for 'ran' out of work. We where asked to wait until February for potential work. On Feb 2nd, an ex-coworker called and I lucked into a full time gig. I upgraded my pay rate, severely upgraded my benefits (hard not to improve on nothing), I am an employee not a consultant, and I am doing pretty much the same thing I did as a consultant but with consistent hours. Total time unemployed 2 weeks. I got REALLY lucky, just because I kept in touch with someone I worked with years ago. What has been said about networking is right on. Sooner or later you’re going to get a call from someone and they are going to have a job lead for you. Congrats Brian, Good luck Pooh.
  10. I get a very Orwellianvibe about his. What exactly are you trying to teach your child, definitely not trust. I have a hunch that if parents feel the need to use these on their children, odds are they are only preparing them to wear one issued by the state later on.
  11. Why do we keep track of our age? Why does everyone know how tall they are? Why is the sky blue? Where do chickens come from? Why can't Jeff Blake be a real quarterback?
  12. This is a lose lose situation for the mods. If they choose to follow the rules they are to harsh. If they choose to do the 'nice' thing they are opening themselves to criticism from the people here who can't consistently see reality. Boss I had along time ago had a saying "There is doing things right, and there is doing the right thing, they don't always match." As an employee I knew that he meant sometimes bending the rules is ok, if done for the right reasons. Pinning the topic sounds like a great idea to me.
  13. Of course this one has merit and could be considered sublime. St. Louis Arch Virtual Cache
  14. Find the last cache the bug was in and e-mail the owner.
  15. Only blimp we ever see around here is FUJI film.
  16. You can get your geo-hound training started close to home! None of the local cachers are really active right now. we haven't seen a new cache in a while.
  17. It is abject and it is silly. We use it to get to know each other better. You don't like it, don't read it. No reason to poop on our fun.
  18. IT TAKES 20 YEARS! Oh carp, by then I'll be to old to go out!
  19. Roses are Red Violets are blue This poem is stupid How about some haiku?
  20. You know, women hardly ever just come out and tell us what they really want. Sure, they say they want affection, jewelry, flowers and a restaining order, but thats just a smoke screen. Really what they want is to be surprised. They want to be dragged out into the woods by the strangling leash that is your love. Made to bushwack, mud hump and splash for a few miles, through unforgiving terrain, for a McToy. When you get there and present her with said McToy you will look deep into each others eyes and she will think, I shoulda bought a dog.
  21. That kicks butt for labout 10 different reasons. Can I use that on my sig line?
  22. I can give you my favorite side trip cache experience. Red River Gorge area of Daniel Boone NF in Kentucky. Wish that I could do these all over again. Buck Trail Fitchburg Furnace Virtual Cache Our Favorite Li'l Bridge Janus' Li'l Vacation Home Pinch 'Em Tight
