  1. I have been told that my caches are some of the oldest in Georgia. They tend, I think, to be in nice locations. I need someone to adopt my cashes. They deserve better maintenance.

If you are interested, text me at six 7 eight 4 six 3 nine 7 sux 7. I really want you to text. TEXT before 10 pm pls.

  2. WE HAVE A HAPPY ENDING!!!!

Amazingly enough, my friend's mom and companion have come through the storm alright!

    Thanks be to God!

Thanks to all who have attempted to get information. Our prayers go with you as you work on behalf of all the other worried people out there. Know that there are miracles. Good things do happen.

  3. Please forgive me if this is not an appropriate request, but it comes from a geocacher anxious to get information. My dearest friends' mom who has alzheimers and is on oxygen is named Doris Simpson and she lives/lived at 207 Northwood Drive, Carriere, MS. She lives with Johnny Sutter at the same address. Her daughter, new to geocaching, is Randy and can be reached at 706-637-9523. Right now we can't even find out if Carriere is still there.

All news seems to be focused on New Orleans, Biloxi, and Baton Rouge. This is a small community off I-59 North at Exit 6. No matter if the news is good or bad, if you can find out anything about the town or these missing folks, please call Randy at the number above or e-mail her at bluemac at bellsouth.net. She's desperate to hear if she's supposed to start grieving or what.

You folx with HAM radios have the original emergency contact system. Right now Red Cross and Salvation Army are over taxed and unable to provide info. Can you help?

  4. You know, they have a very nice airport in Birmingham. Airplanes come and go from it, and I bet some of them even go toward Memphis. Just a thought. If nothing else, maybe get back to ATL where you can AirTran it. Alternatively, the hub for Fed Ex is Memphis, right????

  5. I'm a newbie with just eight caches under my borrowed GPS. One thing I've discovered is that there are lots of caches I WANT to go to, but have decided that going it alone just doesn't seem really wise. I'd really like to find another person to poke around the State with (western GA/eastern AL -- could meet in ATL or Anniston). My family thinks I'm NUTS, and I don't have any nerdy friends that want to go OUTSIDE. I do have a small mobility impairment so I don't walk REALLY fast, but I get around fine, just slower. If anyone would be interested in a partner to go out caching together, I'd like to hear from you.

  6. :) Hi there Geocachers. I'm a newbie and live in western Georgia. I have 7 whole caches to my name. Since I have nowhere to go on T-giving I was wondering if anyone wanted to throw in together to do some Geocaching on our day off? Just a thought. I'm gonna go find caches no matter what, just thought it might be more fun with someone else. Just some good clean Geocaching here....nothing else. OK?
