It's called Silica Jell. It comes in packages of new shoes sometimes. A better way to get it is to keep all of the little things in over-the-counter medication bottles that say "DO NOT EAT". This is Silica Jell. However, a word of caution -- it does not absorb very much moisture. It is best to begin with a waterproof container, such as an ammo can.

Hello everyone! I have a travel bug in my posession that needs to find a cache near to an international airport. Unfortunately, I have had it in my posession and in my caches for several months with no success. If anybody knows of any geocaches near an international airport, preferably a travel bug hotel, please contact me. I would! Absolutely! Count me in next time you go! I don't mean to brag, but at one time I worked 50+ hours a week and bought a professional GPS for my car that set me back a cool $3,000. Yes, 3K! What was I thinking? I ask myself that question every day. So far, I can come up with no answers to this question. Aww... Who cares, anyway?

Great news! There ARE caches along old 66 after all! Consider my bug officially released and on its way!

Does anybody have any idea if there are geocaches located along the old Historic US Route 66? I have a new travel bug that I would very much like to travel to said caches, if there are any. Please let me know so I can decide whether or not to release the bug or change its goal, pending the cache status. Just thoughts...
