  1. Oh my god! That's the funniest bug I've ever seen!
  2. Mine's slightly smaller than that, but it still won't fit into most caches. Some of these other things in this thread have gotten me to thinking though. Geez, is that a scary thought or what? What is it, exactly? A traveling log book? A traveling geocache? What?!?!?
  3. You SHOULD make this a sticker! You could make a huge profit!
  4. I'm investing in a set of night vision equipment soon. I'll let you guys know how it works for night caching. Seriously! No joke!
  5. I've heard of some of these being in locked boxes. Is this considered cool if the combination is posted on the cache page?
  6. True names, phone numbers, etc., can all be found on line. Credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc., are a no-no!
  7. I have an entire website about myself. I've had all sorts of info posted to the net since 1998, and so far have had absolutely no problems at all. Well, except for this past summer when someone dropped off 5 traffic cones on my lawn as a prank. Otherwise, it's all good.
  8. That's a really cool travel bug. I still cannot believe that you found it in your yard! That's just plain nifty!
  9. Keep your eye on this cache. This is where I will be releasing my greatest travel bug of all time... My Public Pay Phone TB. Of course, it's a micro, so the phone will be hidden somewhere nearby. Details will be inside the cache container once it's released.
  10. Gold? If you make a golden travel bug, please place it in my cache. I don't know about using a moon rock for a TB, I think that this would get taken since it in itself has great value since it is from the moon. Why not take an ordinary rock and paint it anc call it a moon rock?
  11. My travel bug was supposed to travel from New York to California. For some reason, it ended up in Holland! Robbie The Incredible Rubber Chicken
  12. I'd be willing to carry some travel bugs around New York State for people. I do a lot of traveling (I mean a lot). So, drop them off in either my cache or a cache that I have found before, and I'll see what I can do. Of course, you'll need to email me any plans for the travel bug (if they're not included already with the bug) and I'll see what I can do. Generally, I travel the most between the vicinity of these two caches... GCM4K5 and GC5E7A.
  13. How in the world could you go there unless you had a helicopter?
  14. Here's the ultimate one in Antartica! No Further South From Here
  15. That looks like it would be lots of fun!
  16. Where else could I have started a thread? I thought this one was kinda off-topic in itself.
  17. I figured I'd start the topic of Extreme Geocaching! A.K.A. 5-Star Caching!
  18. I kinda like the idea too, but if people are concerned about others cheating the system, why not have it viewable only to us in our own private profile?
  19. I don't think that this has happened to me yet. I'm very discrete and nobody seems to notice me much while I'm caching.
  20. I clicked a link @ WheresGeorge.com. By the way, this topic is also being discussed here.
  21. I clicked a link, I think it was at WheresGeorge.com.
  22. Only rarely do I trade for myself. Usually I just drop in cool things for the next visitor. This includes trading a cool item for a TB that someone left behind. It's always cool to add things, I think.
  23. I think that is awesome! We need more good people who care about the caches they seek and try to help others accordingly.
  24. Mine does, it supports SD cards, the same ones used in my Magellan Meridian GPS. I'm sorry, but I'm stuck to Magellan for GPS units and Pocket PC for my PDA's.
