Greetings everyone! My wife and I have a large hoard of custom geocoins that we had minted. Why so many? We got an incredible deal by buying several hundred of them. All are trackable on Geocaching.com, and are activated in our accounts. We are looking for a few people who either find a lot of geocaches, or folks who own several caches, who would be willing to receive a box of geocoins in the mail to place in caches. Please let me know if you are interested by contacting me through the Geocaching website. Coins will be sent in a box, USPS Priority Mail, and to mailing addresses in the United States only.

ALL DONE. ALL GEOCOINS HAVE BEEN GIVEN AWAY AND/OR PLACED INTO CACHES, RESPECTIVELY.
I have done a handful of geocoin giveaways, and have always gotten a tremendous response. As such, I have decided that, until 2017, I would give away the last few (20!) remaining custom geocoins to two lucky geocachers. The only thing is that these geocoins are activated, and I ask that they be logged as soon as possible, and placed into caches before January 1st. Why January 1st? Because that's when the next shipment of geocoins is set to be delivered.
In other words, you may cache with them, trade them with other geocaching folks, but you may not keep them.If you are interested, please reply to this post. I will pick two lucky geocachers who will get a box of 10 geocoins. If you have already received and/or logged my geocoins, you are still eligible to request some.

ALL DONE. THERE ARE NO MORE TO SEND OUT.
Thanks to everyone who requested geocoins, all have been sent out literally nationwide. If you didn't get yours already, there will be a smaller giveaway in 2017 (to be announced). Also, the USPS advised me that two mailings went missing, so approximately 15 geocoins were lost in the process. A report was sent to the USPS to account for the loss and hopefully they will turn up soon.

I still have some mailers left, but they won't last long with 3 to 5 requests being sent out daily. In fact, the post office knows me by name now. Get them before they're all claimed.

I got a package in the mail yesterday. I suspect that there will be a few coins dropped this weekend.

I have sent out several mailers today to those who have requested geocoins. They're going fast, I have 43 remaining.

We will be placing 2 of them. It's been a long time since we have found any in the wild so we are thrilled to be able to give someone a chance of finding one in a cache.

oops, i just realized i didn't email you per the instructions. sorry about that. i hope i can have a couple for my kids to place and watch. would you prefer they be placed in difficult cache areas or somewhere they will quickly take off ?

Rescue557 was kind enough to send 10 to my daughter a few weeks ago and as an afterthought sent me one as well. He has about 50 out at the Moment. He paid for the coins and the postage to give Players of the game the fun of placing a coin somewhere. The placing and moving coins is becoming a rare Thing, so thanks Thomas and please dont knock him for doing it.

I retain all ownership, no adoption and no collecting.

Yes, they were $4 USD each. I would gladly ship them worldwide but customs forms and shipping costs would make this too difficult.
