  1. Here comes a little addendum from me: One evening I settled snugly on our sofa, when I found another little package! It was hidden in the folds of the woolen blanket! It was another present from the package the Atwell Family had sent, and this coin was in it: Absolutely stunning! The castle on that coin is the Wartburg, which I have visited when I was a kid, it was very impressive. And the coin is really great, my favourite colors! I received absolutely wonderful presents from all of my Secret Santas. Thank You so much! Even though all my parcels arrived at their destinations and I already opened all parcels I received, I still watch this thread nearly every day, because I love to see all the pictures posted Thanks again, Butterfly Lady for this great mission
  2. I got a nice card today from Brewmeister! With christmas greetings in German on it Thanks a lot for the Fountains Abbey coin, I like it a lot! The way in which the abbey is drawn in metal and different shades of grey has a great effect! And I will surely drink one or two mugs of Glühwein to your health, Brewmeister! For the record: one of my missions has been received, and I received one so far. Thanks, Butterfly_Lady for organizing all this fun for us!
  3. Yesterday I opened up my Secret Santa package from Port Orchard. I found a Christmas Card with 5! nicely wrapped presents! and here are the beautiful coins I found in it: Especially the Kansas Sunshine is a Coin I have on my Wishlist since I first saw a picture of it! I just love it! Does any shop sell these coin rings in a size fitting for micro coins? I want to wear that sunflower as a necklace! Thank you so much, Secret Santa!
  4. And here are the pictures of my Secret Santa Package from the Atwell Family: I activated the "Cache across America" Coin. When I find the time, I will put better pictures of the Coins there And In case I forgot to mention: WOW
  5. My Georesolution is not to forget to take a picture of every trackable I retrieve from or discover in a Cache! Last time I moved a TB from one Cache to another during the same tour, I forgot to take a picture, and I was so sorry, because there was no picture at all on it's page!
  6. Oh Wow Oh wow Oh wow Oh wow! When I found a package from the Atwells today, I thought it was the order I placed...and I thought "what a big box for just a few coins"... But when I opened it and some nicely wrapped packages fell out it was clear that this was my third Santa Mission! Well, I planned to keep the third mission until the 25th, but seeing all those nice packages, I wasn't able to stop! So many nice things in it! Two trackables (Cache across america and Can we go caching after baseball?) and a lot of other coins which will be provided with hangers somehow, to brighten our christmas tree: 4 (!!!) Dreamcatchers, one of these cute snowflake coins with the nice snowmans, Two Atwell Family Geocoinfest Tags, a Fluttershy Geotag (oh, this seems to be trackable, too!). And a MustangJoni/HedgeHoppers coin and an Anthus geocoinfest Pittsburgh Coin (number 22)... Did I already say WOW!? Thank you so much, Atwell Family, for this great, generous package!!! I will post pictures during the weekend... Thank you, Thank you Thank you!
  7. Dear MotoCycleBoi, thanks for the Cointest! I sent two of my Birka-Coins out into the great world, but I don't think they travelled far enough to win that cointest but the Birka is one of my favourite coins, so I have to take part When I was closer to the danish border for a business trip, I placed my gold/silver/color Birka TB2FT1R into a very nice cache. Unfortunately it seems to be stolen now, one of the finders posted in october, that it's not in the "Fischteiche" cache anymore... (but I still have a "backup" here, if I like a coin very much, I only send it out in the wild when I have another unactivated at home... eventually one of my coins will fulfill a mission and come back to me, and then the backup will be nice for trading ) The second, a silver Birka TB2FTKH, I have placed not long ago in a cache near a long lost place, "Kloster Barthe". The next finder brought it back to my home town, I'm already curious to see, if this will be able to travel some places where the Vikings have left their traces I can't decide, which of my Birkas I like better, the coloured one is more impressive, but on the silver you can see the details better... I had to send them out, because I want other people to see them, too! Cheers, Chur
  8. my Camulodunum coins arrived today! They are absolutely beatiful, thanks for this nice design, I like this historic theme!
  9. A few days ago I received my parcel from GeoKs: Yesterday I had a little early christmas celebration when I opened it in front of the fireplace I received a beautiful "Happy Holidays" Coin (now I must find a way to attach some kind of hanger to it, so I can put it on the chrismas tree...) with a matching pin and a matching small non-trackable coin, a little card a chrismas ornament and chocolates. Additionally there was a wonderful, beautiful earth turtle pin! And a "canadian Cacher" Pin, with the adorable litte beaver dude! I like that beaver so much Thank you so much GeoKs!!!!!!
  10. there is a TB museum in Hannover, Germany: The Hitchhiker’s ride to Legacy – TB Museum GCPX30 I haven't been there (yet) but the descriptions sound nice :-) is that the kind of thing you mean?

  13. Today I received my second package It comes all the way from Port Orchard, WA, but there's no name written on it... Thank you, SecretSanta! I do enjoy a little anticipation, but I won't wait until christmas... I think the 13th is a good date to open it... Isn't the 13th the day of Lucia, when little swedish girls put candles on their heads? Seems to be a good day for a little celebration I will post pictures, when I opened it...
  14. I just joined in, too! I love surprises! And it's more than two weeks now since I last sent goodies, so I'm becoming fidgety (right word?)... Thanks again Butterfly Lady for another nice mission!
