  1. If you are so concerned about Reviewers using "Sock Puppet" accounts I am surprised it has taken you so long to mention it. Deceangi has been reviewing for 15 months, Eckington for just over 4 years and I have been doing so for nearly 4 years.

We do so as a convenience to separate out correspondence, caching logs etc. Is this a problem to you? It isn't to Groundspeak who positively encourage their volunteer helpers to work in this manner. Unlike in many parts of the world the three of us have always been totally open as to our "true" identities. There can't be many people who read these forums who don't know me also as The Hornet or even Peter (maybe some other things as well, but that's another matter  )

However, if you do have a problem with this then please get in touch with Groundspeak who will take any necessary action.

Eeeh wot are our reviewers like.. I used to do it without the cover.. hence the reason I nicked off :(:laughing:

  2. Hi

I'm new to geocacheing but have been following the forums and caches for a little over a month.. finding how things work or not you know.

But I was wondering if logging your own caches is ethical.. I was just perusing the last couple of Cache events as I plan on driving down to the edinburgh cache later this month.

On the Travel bug event in yourkshire the person who set it up logged it twice.. once before it was technically available.

I know that there are those who like the numbers game as shown up in The Northumbrians post..

    I'm just curious to know..

And before any one shouts troll I live up a hill in the most beautiful part of Scotland .. not under a bridge and hope to meet lots of folks in Currie..

Once I figure how to use this ruddy GPS thing..

BTW.. can anyone tell me if I can use wass thing on Garmin 12!!

    Thanks
