Scorhill Circle GC12JQZ and Buttern Hill GC12JQT
A couple of others that are not actually on the moor but are well worth a look are the two on Bovey Tracey Heath GC19XQA and GCPQ4W.
There is also Ivy Tor GCBC1D, Esses Ten 7's GC13KJ7 and this one GC12GT6 although it can be a litle boggy if the weather is wet.

Let's say I've been warned against poking the sleeping bear with even the bluntest of sticks.
Surely you can express an opinion, however reactionary, as long as you abide by the published guidelines. This is a DISCUSSION forum after all, all opinions should be accepted.I have an opinion on this subject, but am fearful of expressing it. I'll leave it to others to decide what that might say about Groundspeak's forum moderation. In which case the moderation is a bit to harsh if forum members are not allowed to commenct on things like the actions of the moderators. Nobody is perfect and that includes many moderators on many forums I belong to, yet on all the others the members are allowed to comment as long as they are not abusive or threatening.

Clitching at straws now, how about Platt

How about Cantona

We are down near Worthing for a few months and would be only to happy to take somebody new out for an insight to caching.

Here here!!!!
That last poster speaks common sence.
-
As humerous as the tale may be it only shows that when in London you have to be ultra careful not to leave bags behind.

It's no good if like me you use a USB Mobile Internet Connection, I am down in West Sussex and it shows me up near Skipton.

Thanks, question answered, very quick response. Now to look for a good price on one while the OH is in a good mood and willing to let me buy.

When you upload a GPX file to the Oregon how much of the contained info gets uploaded?
Is it just the basic description and hint or does it include the logs??
Thanks folks

All I meant was that if you are one of the people who don't like these type of caches/locations then don't go find them but leave them to us who are happy to do so.
Now you can go back in
-
Ain't there room enough for those caches? It's just like... you're not obligated to go after them. Ignore them and move on.
In before angst.
Quite agree, as I have said in another thread, if you don't like a certain type of cache or location then don't go out and find them, leave them to others who do.
It's a game for all types of people, not just the elitist types who hunger for 'TGOD'
-
You think that's bad? I've heard talk of an At Your Convenience series...
Next thing you know is that George Michael will be out to buy a GPS as then he will have an excuse for being in the wrong/right place Mind you a few politicians may even get involved as well

We all take different terms in different ways.

I have personally received complaints from US citizens who found being referred to as a merkin insulting. And have seen it used in a derogatory way. As such please do not use the word to describe US citizens in this forum.
Nor to describe Sporrans, something which has not ever been applicable, and is insulting to any person who wears a Sporran.
Deceangi
I find the term 'Limey' somewhat insulting but can find numerous uses of that word by USA forum users but no censorship by the mods over there for them.

Oh well if nobody else wants to answer.
The 'Redoutable' was the name of the ship.

Along with the normal swaps I carry:
Small Silica Gel packs
A few Temp Logbooks (8 entries) in different sizes
Insulating tape to repair boxes
Sealable plastic bags
A few small laminated Cache Notes (amazing how many caches do not have them or they were not laaminated and have rotted.
Also carry a small tube of sanitizing gel to clean hands of germs (can't be to careful these days) just in case we decide to have something to eat.

Hi, my first post.
I have been saving each loc file and pulling each into MM, its been a pain. Looking at this post made it a bit easier, but would have liked a up to date installation method, instead of looking through so may posts, however looks like I have had all the issues as discussed, but I think I am there, even knowing what GSAK is (I think this is part of the geothing and giving clues that need solving) and where to download, then to ensure you load this program in program files dir or you need to do more edits. then to get your id. main reason for the post so I can get my ID.
So hi and I hope I can simple go paperless on my PDA and MM.
Jas
I use Geocache Log which will export a CSV file for Memory Map and ot will also download the Cache Notes and Logs to your iPod classic or nano.
It keeps a log of your Found, To Find and Hidden caches as well as a Log for amy TB's/Geocoins you have.
So easy to use take a look at it HERE
Oh yes and it will use LordElph's icons in Memory Map
