Is it possible to get waypoints converted into an ov2 file? I seem to recall last time I looked into Geocaching (before I had Tomtom) I was told there was a way of getting them like this...but I can't remember how

Why so many programs need to conver this and that, its very confusing for those trying to find their way into Geocaching
I have Navman, GPXView and Mapopolis...I also need GPSBabel?

Apologies for my complete n00bness...but I have only recently got a GPS sleeve for my iPaq and I am wondering whether to give geocaching a go.
Would anyone care to explain to me what these queries are and how I use them? I'm guessing somewhere on this site it explains them, but I probably didn't realise what it was (most of the site is confusing me a little right now ) If so, please just post a link for me.
Thanks for any help that can be offered.

I have installed Mapopolis, on the website it says you download the map files and place them anywhere on the device and it will use them.
I have done this, but it still says no maps installed? Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Also, I downloaded GPXView, but is the only way I can get Gpx files to pay to register on here? As someone just wanting to try geocaching, thats not a good option for me
Will I need any other software apart from these two peices?

So is it possible to enter co-ordinates into Navman SmartST software? I can't see a way for it to be done
I don't think I want to change my software just because of this, as generally it's not too bad and I mainly use it for 'normal' navigation (in fact I haven't tried to find a cache just yet...) Unless anyone knows of better all round software?

I bought mine for new just the other day, for £296 including postage...
You might be aiming a little high looking for £275 for a second hand one, but good luck anyway
What Is The Standard Hdd Hh Mmm Format?
in How do I...?

Right, if the co-ords are given as - N 51° 39.216 W 000° 08.905
But I need to enter in the format - XXXo XX'XX" W and XXXo XX'XX" N
Can I just multiply .905 by 60 to get the seconds or are they completely different formats?
