  1. hi gatoulis. if there were more candy that had unusual savoury flavours i think i would buy them. im not a big sweet flavour fan. i love greek foods.
  2. i want one, but i have nothing to trade for
  3. im so envious :-) some really nice coins there. i love the flower power designs and the frog one. who designed that one?
  4. today i had been planning to be a caching day for me, i was looking forward to it for days. today i woke up to a glorious sunny day and a stinker of a cold so i ended up staying in all day feeling unwell. i have 3 caches ive failed to find and i want to get out there and find them.
  5. you do realise this is a very cruel thread for some people who hasnt got these coins ive just spent 5 minutes reading and looking at the eye candy with my grubby little mits out stretched saying i want i want. its a nice thread to look at and see what i didnt know had been minted.
  6. well done lorca.nl and mustang joni for winning thanks for the fun cointest dorsetgal & geodog
  7. i dont know how long it will take me to reach a hundred. i just cant go caching when i feel like it and theres not an abundance of local caches. so its going to take me a long time.
  8. you're all really nice people on these forums. :-)
  9. just going slightly off original topic here but i just had to share this funny but short story. myhusband, myself and our son were driving through some country lanes in between 2 caches, and we had to stop for a moment or two because some farmers were herding a small number of cows along the road. as they passed by our car, my husband got nervous when he saw a cow looking in at him..... .....so he locked the door my parents have started called my husband buttercup. i really dont know how they heard the story
  10. congrats on winning acadiahiker and thanks for the cointest dorsetgal, i wish i had the time and the money to visit dorset and the rest of the uk i havent been to.
  11. the first thing that always comes to mind when i think of dorset, is POOLE POTTERY. the history of poole pottery started over 200 years ago. all the pottery creations are only hand crafted, which in my opinion gives that unique rough homely feel that you will never get with machinery. i have owned a couple of beautiful poole pottery mugs that are now 28 years old. if i ever visited dorset again i would love to visit poole pottery to buy some more nice items.
  12. i was thinking of making them proper trackable coins. which means i cant afford to go it alone. at this stage its still only an idea but if it could work and if we could get the company to make a batch of say about 100 or plus coins, that it could be a shared project, all coins made the same except for the tracking number, and members would pre order and pay then the coins would get made. i hope im clear with this?
  13. i had an idea for a highlands geocoin. i have absolutly no idea if its possible to do, how much i may cost or how to go about it. thats why im asking for any coiners from near pitlochry. my idea for the coin is for it to be made from heather. a jewellery company called heathergems. see heathergems.com makes nice items of jewellery made from compacted heather wood. from what it says on the website, they dont make special orders. i think having a highland geocoin made from heather would be a really good idea. like i said i have no idea what to do or anything, so im just wanting to open this discussion here and see what happens.
  14. thanks everyone and thanks to nochipra for the great cointest. i dont think im psychic, intuitive but not psychic. besides its late at night and im tired from having a busy day with my son. im always lurking on here lol.
