  1. After all 25 boxes come back to me, I'll add three more to the mix(My outgoing BOXES), and then ship them all out on ONE DAY. Remember that the box you send me will not end with me...except for two of them. I will have no idea which two will be mine until the end. I won't open mine until at least one other person has received their filled BOX. Sooo...some people have already received their filled boxes...I guess it's time for me to open the ones I got to keep...
  2. WooHoo...time for expainations... Let's start with the Dice and Markers...you get to make up your own game, or I guess throw them in the box of a game that is missing some. The unidentified Coin is one of my all time favorites...Mr. Jiffy's Summer Meltdown 2008. An awesome Cointest that ran all over the world for a whole summer. The activated Coins for travel are My Personal and Mike's Memorial. I always wished I had gotten to go on a road trip with him. I got a big basket of the Embroidry Floss at a yeard sale(about 150+ different ones for $2). I bagged them up to drop in Caches, and they make great filler in small BOXES too. I hope you like the colors. There were also about a dozen of those lanyards in the basket. Haha, don't ever leave your husband in charge of selling your things at a yard sale. Funny...at another yard sale, some wife sold me one of her husbands $60 knives for $5 Is there a Blushing Emoticon?? The larger magnets with the "amazing art on them" are made with Photos that I took.
  3. I am glad you liked it. I had fun stuffing it full of stuff. Isn't it amazing how much stuff will fit in those tiny little BOXES??
  4. Ugh...I can't remember who was my designated Buyer/Trader...If you were it, please don't forget to send my loot!!
  5. 26 BOXES were send on Tuesday. a few of them went Priority, because it was the same or cheaper that way. If yours was(or wasn't) sent Priority, it doesn't mean anything at all. One went into an envelope at the request of the clerk, so she had room to attach the required form(for the APO address).
  6. UhOh...did WRITE SHOP ROBERT find another treasure box at another Estate Sale today??
  7. Well...I can say that in the ten BOXES that I had to open and inventory for international shipping, there were at least THREE different kinds of Reece's Peanut Butter Cups
  8. Hopefully this won't last until Boxing Day. But...Maybe that's a good theme for another Mission.
  9. Nope...just distracted by those Canadian Ladies... WHOA!!! I hadn't noticed that they were Canadian. Kinda makes me want to give up Photography, and become a Painter??
  10. Nope...just distracted by those Canadian Ladies...
  11. this is something I suggested a couple years ago when folks complained about missing/stolen coins and all the alluminum tags started saturating the market. I still think it's a good idea. and would ensure that good quality proxies were in the game. However with any good idea, you need someone to lead the way and set the standard and become the trailblazer. afterwards, if it gets good feedback, the rest will follow.... Who better than a Lion to lead the way?? Charge!!
  12. Oh, Yeah...As far as plastic Geocoins go, I don't think I've seen any, but wouldnt rule out the idea. I'm always trying to think of ways to rePurpose the signs we throw away at work, and most of my ideas involve cutting them up into little pieces. If I have my way, one day you'll see trackables made out of them. These ideas probably won't be a big hit with the collecors, but also may be passed up by the thieves. They should work fine as actual travelers.
  13. Start out by reading this thread, then when you're ready, get in touch with Groundspeak... http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=116641
  14. But...But...Canadianites don't believe in fun. WOOW ... what .. excuse - Eh! edit to add fun! seewhatimean...they don't even know when I'm telling a joke.
  15. I should have just minted a Mystery...it would have taken less time, and less money.
  16. So no rotten eggs ... unless someone stuck an Easter Egg in their mission! No, I guess not...such a pity, as I already bought the stickers I was going to use to label it. Sooo...I'm a little disappointed in the end result of this experiment. I'm also a little weary of looking at this giant tub filled with unsent boxes. I'll be mixing and preparing all the boxes this weekend, whether or not #24 has arrived. sooo...we have 23 so far, I'll throw in my three, and then send out 26 as I originally planned. Whatever's leftover after that I'll keep for myself. Not exactly what I planned, but it is what it is. Maybe someone can use that as their quote in the Cointest over in that nearby thread.
  17. What you've found was dropped as a trade item of a gift. Congratulations on a great find. Tracking numbers have 6 digits and trackable items are requires to have the words "Track at Geocaching.com" or some close variation. Can you post a picture so we can see your prize?? As far as trading ever, I usually use a $5-$12 rule of thumb for trading nontrackable or unactivated geocoins.
  18. a common problem is reading the wrong numbers on the coin, like stated above, try looking very closely to be sure tyou're not mixing up any digits, like 8B, 0O, 1l, AR, 5S, Etc.
  19. I guess it's completely up to each person as they receive it. If you want to trade it all like a traditional mission, that's great, if you want to treat it like a traveling Cache, that's great. If you want to just log the coins and send everything else on the way to the next, that's great. Make it whatever you will...it's outta my hands!! The Tag now belongs to the List. That's one thing that makes this great, I don't have to worry about it anymore
  20. Great Picture...how did all that stuff fit in that little tiny treasure Box?
  21. This log was on a coin that I have on my watchlist. A few emails and a little poking and proding has led to the return of the missing Backback to it's owner, and also gotten the Coin back into circulation. Thanks to a helpful finder that took the time to register in order to find the proper place for everything.
  22. I have to disclaim this, as I'm not making any religious statement, but I saw a bumper sticker today that had a great way to drive home it's point...it said.... "Who Would Jesus Bomb" Even though I'm not religious, I think that's an excelent way to point out the stupidity(of war, in general).
