I use a picture key chain. That way it does have a "feel" to it. It has a place to add your travel buddy. It seals pretty good. If it is underwater, it will fill. But it does stay rather dry. I have glued some and it works pretty good also.
As you can see, I have the coin images on one side, and the explanation on the other.
So far I haven't had anyone to say anything about them. The have been received pretty well.
Let me know if you are interested. I do take coins for trades!!

I have fallen behind on this one. I didn't know this kind of thing existed on the fourms. I have joined 2 missions in the past few day, and would like to do this one. If anyone would like to pick up an extra mission, please send me a message. I have a coin to trade and maybe a regift or 9.
Let me know.

If anyone would still like to send/receive another package, here is a person who would like to do a Regift trade, although too late to get in on the official mission list. Good luck, I don't doubt that someone will take you up on the offer.
If you don't mind to ship overseas then I'd love to step in!!!
Can you send her an email to let her know? Thank you.

Today arrived my second Christmas clearing mission. Thank you so much CSRA Cruisers. This package is just great. How did you know that I'd like to have all this stuff? Especially this case, I intend to buy a netbook and it would perfectly fit into it. Wow. Then this little car, I saw today that there will be a Canadian travel bug race and that you must send something with wheels and I thought of a little car. Wow!!! Of course I will put the little cache (we call this "petling") into the wild and I will inform you. The coin is also new for me and I like it very much! Thank you so much for this parcel!
You are so very welcome. I enjoyed sending it to you.
Let me know about the cache!!!!

I have seen many geocoin missions and have even done a few. I really like the idea of pairing up people with the same mission/idea. I have sent two of mine to other countries.
I have been looking for a cache mission, but haven't been able to find one as of yet. Now I'm sure someone else has already come up with this, but I thought I could give it a try all the same.
So here is what I propose.......
What if you could pair up with someone and have them place a cache on your behalf and vis-versa.
Let's say you and I pair up, and I place a cache here in my area. I would then send you the cords and any particulars about the cache. You would then publish the cache under your name. I would place the cache on my watch list to keep an eye on it just in case it needs maintenance. You would also do the same for me, then I could publish the cache with my name and you could keep an eye on it for me by way of your watch list.
There would be no postage involved unlike mailing a geocoin halfway across the world. Before you place the hide, you can decide on what size both of you would be placing.
Now I can’t think of all the details right now. I am asking for suggestions.
So, be kink, let me know if you are interested, and we will see how it goes.
Thanks for your time.

So true, my friend! They told me to allow 7 to 15 days for it to arrive
I sure hope it will be 7 rather than 15!
I hope so to!!!!!

I have a several of the same coins that i would like to trade. I'll just about take anything in trade as long as it is 1.5 inches across.
All of the coins are brand new, still in the wrapper.
I thank you upfront!!!

I have found a TB that is in a cache in one location, but is still showing in an old cache. Do I log that I picked it up from the old cache and place in the new one? Or is there something else I should do.
Maybe Groundspeak should make something that you can tell them that it’s now turned up in another cache. I know you have, grabbed with form so on and so forth, but now maybe a place that you can tell the website that you found it someplace else. It might would help with people who see them and never log them because they don’t know what to do with them, or even how to ask what to do with them.
-
I have come across a TB or two that were recreated sorta speak. The owner keeps the orginal, and makes a copy somehow and releases that into the Geocaching system.
I would love to get some ideas for this. Has anyone out their done this?
Thanks

Ok, I have seen many different post about Geocaching and an “I” something. So I wanted to ask a couple of questions that I and another Geocacher is asking. He has an iTouch and I want one BAD!! But he keeps telling me it will not do everything that I think it should do. So I am posting this to see if it will or not.
I am using GSAK as well and have been able to load the information for the GSAK program to a Palm Pilot. It is a little bit of a pain, but it does work.
We know that Geocaching.com has a program that will work in the iTouch. But it will only take 20 caches at a time and it not takes all the website has to offer in the way of logs and such. And the only way to be able to get any more is to stop and find a hot spot to load more. Let’s face it, when you are out caching, you don’t want to stop to find a bathroom, much less have to load the next 20 caches.
I have seen in the forums that you are able to use GSAK to export the PQ in an HTML format and then load that into the iTouch. That I think I can handle. But are you able to search for the GC code of the next cache you are looking for, or do you have to load them in alphabetical order and look for them that way?
I have seen other ways of loading the caches into the iTouch, but most have had limitations.
What I would like to be able to do is, load as many caches as the PQ will pull into the iTouch, and be able to search for them by being able to hit File>Search>type the GC code in>Go, and it find the description for me.
-
I don't have an Itouch. YET!!! But using what you say, can you search for a GC code? Or do you have to scroll through and find it yourself?

I am hosting the next Geomeeting for our group in Augusta, and I need a game to be able to play with my group. What I would like to do is hide several unpublished caches around our city and have a game for the cords. I don't want to give them out and have everyone just up and leave for the FTF. I'd be sitting there in the meeting with just myself and my wife and no one else around. So, I was wondering in your years of attending meetings, has anyone come up with a fun game to play for unpublished caches.
Thank you for your time.

We've been to several cache to seek out TB's, only to find they are MIA. I had read some threads that told how to report lost TB's. Problem being i can only report on these ones i own. Is there some way to report others?
I have found a virtual cache that seemed to be a grave yard, is it ok to drop TB's that i find in these grave yards? I thought about doing this for those TB's that have been MIA for a year or more?
It was just a thought to help with those cachers in search of TB's but come up short even thought the log states it should be there.
I would appericate any in put.
Thanks

It seems that the charter limitations on profiles has either been increased or removed. I remember when there was a counter that told you how many charters you had left. But I haven't seen that after Groundspeak did the upgrade.
I was wondering though, can the number of charters be increased on the TB pages also? I've tried to do some HTML pages, and keep hitting the limit really fast.
Just wondering.
Thanks for your time.
