I have the same issue with one adventure lab stop. I know when I input the correct answer the ad lab app wheel just stared at me while the circle spun in circle and never gave me the Correct Answer screen. On the ad lab app it shows I've done all the stops but, when it comes to my account stats I am showing I'm one short of the actual number.
I've tried numerous things including logging in and out of the app (both ad lab and geo) but won't resolve.

I've been having the same issue with pocket queries lately. Using WIndows 10 - Chrome Browser.
If I go to the PLAY dropdown and click on Pocket Queries, it opens what appears to be the Browse Map. However, the left side panel shows all my pocket queries that appear to be hyperlinked or whatever but when you click on any of them, nothing happens.
Quite by accident I found what appears to be a workaround or another way to get the PQ's pulled up.I go to the Browse Map from the Play Dropdown menu and the Pocket Queries "button" is in the upper right corner of the left side panel and when I click on that it shows the pocket queries in the side panel (as it does in the browse map) but now when I click on a pocket query, it actually works.
Prior to this glitch, I would simply go to the PLAY dropdown menu, Hit Pocket Queries and then hit the Map icon and that would show the query. It stopped doing this at least a week ago.
Not sure if this is a glitch or something that is being changed but, this does not work how it did before...
No settings have been changed in the making of the Topic.
Good thing they got rid of benchmarking so we could have more glitches on the webpage.

Recaptcha seems to be up and running again with no shenanigans on my part! Woot!

I am having the same issue here lately. I've tried some of the suggestions in the thread but still no luck...I am using Windows 10 and Chrome browser.
Good thing they got rid of benchmarking so the site runs better... smh

When I'm on the website maps and try to "add to list" from the pop up cache box, the circle just rotates forever.
However, if I open the cache page and "add to list" it works like a champ. This kind of defeats the purpose of having that feature on the web page if you have to open the cache page to get this done. I"m sure it's just another glitch but thought I'd bring this up to see if it's a known issue and being worked on..

It's by far the least utilized part of Geocaching. I found over 100 of them for a challenge and almost all of them hadn't been found in years, many hadn't been found for a decade or more.
How is this the Market deciding? It's something geocaching HQ came up with. Least utilized or not, I didn't see any forum call for opinions from the geocaching community about this. To me that is NOT letting the market decide, but a unilateral decision based on "fairness"? I suspect it's more of a cost cutting move than anything.

I am very disappointed by this sudden and seemingly random decision with virtually no warning.
There are many of us that have worked hard on benchmarking and completing challenges.
Just because some areas don’t have benchmark and some do, what’s the difference?
It’s really no different than 5 star puzzles that 90% of the caching population can’t solve or a 5 star terrain that many many cachers can’t accomplish. Doesn’t that seem unfair or unbalanced also?
If you’re going to base decisions on whether things are totally fair you are going to wind up with only 1/1 caches everywhere.
I think your decision to do this seems pretty random and not well thought out.
Seems you should spend more time getting glitches out of the Geocaching app rather than things like this.
Let the market decide.

I'm having the same issue. While on the browse map, none of the normal links show up that used to be there. I thought I'd seen something awhile back about GC abandoning the "browse" map. I hope that's not true as the "search" map is fine for some things but it's very laggy and harder to work with.

Same problem for me. The three boxes - Traditionals - Most Favorited - Newest Caches do not seem to be functioning properly. I use it mainly to find the newest caches but no matter which box I go to, they are not working properly.

I've been having the same issue for the last 2 to 3 days... Again!

still not working for me
edit: Not working on Firefox or Chrome for me. Windows 10
Just checked versions. Both are the most recent versions of the browsers

I am having similar issues using chrome or firefox.. Certain things work but several others don't. My Drafts won't populate, the leaderboard doesn't populate among a couple of others. I just get a green spinning wheel. This has been happening since yesterday 12-7-21
Edit: I am able to find my Drafts by opting out of the new Drafts page

I do about twenty pocket queries. Covers 65 miles from home. Download them to GSAK. Then sort.
Got it! Thank you. Sure wish there was a way on the geocaching website to do this but I guess ya can't have everything! Ha! Love the quote!

I used GSAK. Sorted my pocket queries by CO name. Finally found a CO whose name started with 5. A fair distance off.
Thanks Harry Dolphin. That sounds like a good way to do it. Although when you say you sorted a pocket query, did you just do a general pocket query of all caches in a radius before d/l'ing to GSAK and then sorting?

Such a challenge is against guidelines and won't be published
I wasn't aware these had been deemed against guidelines, but that being said there are some out there that were published prior and are still active.

Working on a challenge that require you to have A thru Z and 0 thru 9 as the first character of the CO's name. Is there a search feature on the geocaching website that I can use for this? Thank you

I too, have noticed this lately. I just did the most recent update and it seems a bit better.

This same problem started for me a week or so ago. I make a DNF draft on the geocaching app and when I go to the computer and click on the draft, the Found it is selected in the draft. Yes, I can change it, IF I remember to look for that however, this feature has always worked before until now. I am using Windows 10 with latest chrome browser.
-
I'm having the same issue using WIndows10 and Google Chrome. I can't even add individual ones from the Add to list button on the cache page or otherwise. Been this way for 2 or 3 days now.
-
Yes, definite issues with lag. Also, the drafts from the app are not showing on the website map as blue/white exclamation points like they used to
-
I've noticed (among other things) recently that when I log a draft on the app it shows normally as a blue exclamation point but on the website it does not.
Also, if I have corrected coords for say a multi that I've logged with a draft it just shows on the website as the blue puzzle piece rather than a blue exclamation point.
If it's a traditional cache it still just shows as a green dot.
Anyone else having this issue, besides the latency with logs.

I'll throw my hat in the ring here as well. Just today I noticed the left side scroll bar in messaging does not scroll. I can type in a name for a "new message" and it pulls up the person I've contacted before but I definitely can't scroll to look for them.. I guess it's still workable but much more of a pain.. I'm using Windows 10 OS and Chrome browser.
Hey Groundspeak? You listening?

Same issue here. New souvenir notification always there. I see no response from geocaching HQ.

I'm still using the 'old' mapping with gc.com but I have had issues for some time now and in the past with the icons disappearing and also when I hover the mouse pointer on the cache it won't show the cache info or let you click on it to open it. Anyone else having this issue? It sure makes adding to lists among others things a very time consuming task. This bug stinks!
Map Selection Feature Glitch
in Official Geocaching® apps
Posted
So, with the most recent update to the Geocaching App, I noticed that it has followed the annoying update that it seems google maps employs.
Namely, you used to be able to go to the selection feature and click which map you wanted (trails, street, satellite etc.) and it would switch to that map immediately with no further user input required.
NOW, you have to select the map you want and then hit the back arrow to actually see the map you just chose. In short they turned a one step process in to a Two step process for whatever reason I can't imagine. I know.. first world problems but it's more inconvenient and if you are driving for example you have another step to complete so that seems safer.. Right? (note: heavy sarcasm)
