2006 Canadian Benchmark Microcoins
Introducing Canada's 2006 Benchmark Microcoin. They will be sold in packs of 5. Each pack will contain 4 Antique Bronze coins and one LE Satin Gold coin for $25.00 CDN.
The top of the coin is beveled with a thickness in the middle of 3.5mm tapering to 3mm at the edge.
As you can see from the picture, they are just slightly smaller than a Canadian Quarter. Size: 22mm, thickness: 3.5mm
A total of 500 coins were produced in the following quantities:
* LE Satin Gold - 95
* Antique Bronze - 385
* Antique Copper - 20 (Trades only)
This coin has it own Icon and is trackable on geocaching.com.

The Nova Scotia part of the tour has been hidden ( and no caches close to it this time!!) I am holding my breath.. the cachers down here have been laying out caches like crazy!!!
I am working on the HTML now and should be ready to post..

I now have my radio (Yaesu VX-6R) and have been having fun with it!
I will be looking to check into the Geocaching Nets once I find out how to access them. I have echolink installed but have not really spent any time with it.

Not the only holdups....
Sorry, I have picked out a couple good spots and when I went to place I found new caches were placed there.
I have another good spot I will be heading to tomorrow and I am crossing my fingers that is isn't taken.

I was thinking about doing a New Hampshire coin as well.. It is one of my favorite places to vacation!
Being from Boston, Mass is was a quick trip to the mountains!
Now living in Nova Scotia it is a little longer drive!!
I would love to add one of these coins to my collection. If no one from NH is going to do one I may go ahead and produce one.

I wrote the Basic test and got a high enough mark to get access to the HF freq as well!
Once my radio comes in I will be listening for other Ham/cachers out there!
