No these and others are in circulation with its actual value, but I am thinking of adding this coin to a geocoin that is selling right now and placing it in a cache for our American friends (There is a story behind all this http://www.cbc.ca/news/story/2007/05/07/te...py-quarter.html ) The Canadian mint does how ever sell some outstanding coin at a profit (of course) .50 coin for $26 and a $25 coin for $95 But you know your a geocoin addict when you look at these and start dreaming of creating your own (I think the canadian mint has been stealing geocoin ideas to make their coin attractive to sell)

Just because I’ve ordered 14 coins in the past month, and the first page I go to in Groundspeak is the coin page looking for sales or cointests & trades, does not qualify me. Hey PatriotARK, Welcome to caching, first must admit I only started 4 months ago myself so where I went for some grat info was http://www.geocacher-u.com/ take geocaching 101 & 102 both will get you well underway. OBTW I started with the yellow Etrex, Santa was real good and purchased a Colorado, though I'm not too know. Have fun and search the web, there's video and audio lessons and great ideas on what you can do.

In a recent thread on the COG site there seemed to be a simular problem, I've copied their response, hope it helps. Re: Magellan Explorist 600 You need to export the data, ie. from the File menu, select Export, then Magellan eXplorist and give it a filename. I don't know if you can place it directly on the eXplorist or whether you create the file on your pc and copy it over to the GPS. I presume you're trying to "send" the waypoints from the GPS menu. That's for older Magellan units like my MerriColor (Meridian).

Well it has been snowing now for at least 18 hrs so you might say "Mother Nature" has done all the decorating . We live up on Georgian Bay about 100 miles north of Toronto in the Winter Wonderland.
