Yes the coins may be tracked & logged at a Canada Geocoin site, I'm not sure about activation should it not be. There are a number of finds even recently and some trades at another site.

Four counties in da U.P., Menominee, Dickinson, Iron and Gogebic, operate in the Central Time Zone. Those who live in this area are often heard to say, "Is that my time or your time?"

Well said R R, as a health and safety coordinator I ran a safe driving seminar this year and the grumbling I got. But I also included a short Q & A after; it was amazing how many had forgotten the rules of the road. I even got a few who said they had not thought of the rules or just became entrenched in their driving habits that they did not know they were being careless. The point was well taken.

just a sad reminder to slow down and take it easy on the roads. in the area where i live there has been 2 car accidents in less than a month. a woman died in a car accident that only involved her car, and in another accident just 2 days ago, a teenager died and one seriously injured and two other teens miner injuries, in a single car crash.
lets keep this road safety agenda bumped to the top and lets not forget the loss of young lives is such a waste.
I totally agree paganfrog, I lost a class mate many years ago in an accident and then about 25 years pass and my daughter has the same thing except it was 3 of them just before graduation we all need to stop and think...

For Christmas, well I was laid up, had hurt my hip and wasn’t in the best of shape or mind for Christmas. But in walks my daughter and with her and my wife I was taken care of which was enough for me. But there were a few presents passed and I had gotten a box of caramel chocolates, a DVD “Batman the Dark Knight” and a little liquid holiday cheer.
Two days later when our daughter was leaving she made the comment that she would not be coming for my birthday (she knows I hate it when she drives during the winter as we live in the snow belt and last year we had over 11 ft of it and when the wind begins to blow, you get the drift pardon the pun) which I was grateful for but she stuck out a present and told me to open it now, a beautiful new camera, she a great kid.
