GPS reception through GM truck windows in GPS technology and devices Posted January 6, 2007 We have a '00 Olds Silhouette that has the coating in the windshield and none of my garmins (legend, vista, 60cs and geko 201) work on the dash. Will work sometimes in lap or by a side window.
