  1. Did you also post a new Reviewer Note to let him know the changes were made? And perhaps even send an email to the Reviewer's caching ID? Both help make sure he is aware you have made the requested changes.
  2. OOOPS. I meant EarthCache.org of course
  3. We also had 30+ cachers at the GC4NHVD event near Pittsburgh, even though we had intermittent drizzle all morning before the event. (Not a drop during the event, luckily!!) There is an EarthCache in the park where we had the event and several attendees made this their first EC ever. One commented that she very much appreciated the explanation of ECs given at the event, since she was not real familiar with them. She also suggested that I make sure to have a link to the EarthCache.com website on all my ECs, and I do believe I will make sure I've done that. Looks like learning still goes both ways!!
  4. Freshly published for the Pittsburgh area: GC4NHVD
  5. EarthExplorer The coords of the cursor read out on the screen and you can add a grid. You can do satellite view, map view, or topo. However, the formats are either DD.DDDD or DD MM SS. As mentioned previously the conversion is simple.
  6. If the list is important, perhaps you could ask the cache owners to determine the correct category at the time of submission. Maybe as another button to push, or in the Reviewer Note?
  7. GCY44R Schrodingers Cat(che) is a two stager. At the first stage you are given two sets of coords and you have to choose which one to go to.
  8. If you're still looking for topics to place an Earthcache in your city, don't forget that geology is about more than landforms and rocks, it can also be about geological processes. My urban Earthcache on chemical weathering was recently approved: GC449DK.
