Hi! I've been lurking for just over a month now and am pretty new to the whole geocaching thing. I got a new GPS over Christmas and just had to see what it was all about. I've only got 11 finds but I'm already addicted.

I second all of the above and have another warning to add about purchasing GPS units on Ebay. I tried to buy a Garmin Etrex Vista HCx from a very highly regarded seller on Ebay, but was shipped a Venture HC. Apparently the seller knew nothing about GPS units and got the two mixed up, sending both units out to the wrong customers. It took a while to sort out and I ended up getting the same deal from a trusted online retailer with much less hassle.
