  1. Hey, Fuzzy, how're ya doin', huh? Havin' lots of fun ridiculing newbies because they don't know as much as you? Yeah that's the ticket. Bet that makes everybody think you're a real BIG MAN, huh? woo-woo-wuf!!
  2. You guys are all way off base (no pun intended). The symbol that looks like the three legs of a tripod, is actually the corporate logo for MTD lawn mowers. It's stamped into the metal deck of every one (Murray Tractor Division). Probably shows the way to the shed where the mowers are kept... woo-woo-wuf!!
  3. In reading some of the benchmark descriptions, they refer to white witness posts- are they white painted wooden or concrete property corner fence posts or what exactly and why are they called that and what are they for? "Feed a sled dog a frozen fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach him to ice fish, and he'll just stare at you as if you were the stupidest human he ever saw." woo-woo-wuf!!
  4. Ed, as you can see, we're not going to get too much help on this. If you read these strings, you'll notice that serious or tech questions get short shrift, but everybody and his brother is replying to the inane strings with jokes...which is OK, but not if you really need help... woo-woo-wuf!!
  5. I suspect people collect sig cards they get out of caches, but is there a method to collect them by trading with other geocachers from far away? How do you do this? "Lord, Help me to be the Person my dogs think I am." woo-woo-wuf!!
  6. There is nothing you can do to get that 3rd decimal place on the 310. You can change to UTM for greataer precision: Menu...coord sys...UTM--then you can enter the UTM numbers as they appear on the cache listing page. I have the same problem, and would like to know how to translate UTM into DD/mm.mmm... woo-woo-wuf!!
  7. My Magellan 310 displays minutes to two decimal places not three as listed on cache pages, so I have been using the UTM coordinates to find caches. If I mark a location using UTM, how do I translate that into Degrees and decimal minutes to three decimal places? which I will need to do to hide a cache... woo-woo-wuf!!
  8. This is bizzarre!! I just was the first to find a brand new cache, hidden two days ago and it had 2 white panties very near it. The cache was in front of a small (4-person?) Gazebo and one pair of panties was sitting on the inside top sil-plate! The other was in the woods, maybe ten feet away--This at the edge of a cemetary, at the Methodist old folks home-- I don't get it.... woo-woo-wuf!!
