When I go caching with a friend it would be great to be able to merge both of our caches on our phones together instead of constantly asking do you have this one. Is that a possibility for the future or maybe now and I just don't know how? Thanks

Is there a download for Windows 10 I have tried and then read it doesn't work for 7 8 10 any help?

I feel like a total idiot I tried this draft setting to save my battery I am using an android so I have this little yellow ball that says I have drafts and I still have the exclamation marks I read that once I log into the Geocaching page then the drafts are suppose to automatically post ... not happening. Then I looked and it says upload but when I click it it wants camera or documents I am afraid to click and lose all the finds, I can go to each one and do it from my phone but it seems that there should be another way of loading all of them at once not individually. So what am I missing? somebody clear the mud from my eyes please

WHAT DID YOU NOT LIKE ABOUT THE CGEO? I AM LOOKING FOR AN ANDROID APP MYSELF AND WHAT IS API?

The last time I tried to log trackables you had to do it individually which takes way too much time. On the c:geo app you can drop, visit all at one time is there any chance of doing that on the new geocaching app?

What was wrong with the original app that they have come up with the one that doesn't make us happy and it hinders our caching

I am also missing the ability to see the coordinates, I use my phone and used to use the app to plant new caches I would take screen shots of the coordinates to record them correctly. I haven't found a way to do that with the new app the other thing I am having problems with is the sliding screen staying put

when I go out looking for a place to put a new one I look to see how close any cache is to the new spot so that I don't mess up placing one too close to another.

thanks Like TDM said, your GPS doesn't know who you are. It just shows a bunch of caches that were downloaded to it, it doesn't know (or care) who they belong to. You're not "logged in" to your GPS. Your phone, on the other hand, does know who you are (because you are logged in to the app)....therefore it knows which caches belong to you, which ones you have found and not found, etc.

But if they are on the geocaching site as mine and I have logged them as found.... And to make it more interesting when I upload the PQ on my phone it shows them as smilies and as stars crazy

When I made a PQ it shows the finds and the caches that I placed but when I downloaded it to my gps it doesn't show them found nor does it show them as mine. It just shows little green cache boxes waiting to be opened Anybody have any ideas why or what I did wrong I have a Oregon 450 & I use EasyGps.

The pocket query automatically goes to my iphone but then I need to "download to use offline" before I get the trash can icon so that I can delete it. Do I have to download a PQ just to delete it? I don't want to waste my data if I don't have to. thanks for the help

I always log online but those ity bity nanos that you have to unroll and then hopefully get rolled back up tight enough I don't even open I don't want to risk the spring affect and in Oregon it could get soaked in that time I will take pics of it in my hand but not wanting to spoil the find not of the hiding spot This is suppose to be fun does it really matter if someone cheats themselves or feels they need to Enjoy life it is too short to sweat the small stuff Dewns

I am using 4g and can't get my logs sent it was working fine one moment then the next log wouldn't send left that area waited a few days found another cache and tried sending again still doesn't work turned phone off and on again still no good, what to do??

I too feel the need to vent I went on a Geocoin Adventure earned my coin and it was a beauty!! So stupid me thought I would share it and send it on its own adventure by activating and sending it on. The poor thing got snagged out of the very first cache and has disappeared, no log no trace so it is what my stupidity for thinking people would play the game and let everybody enjoy it and trust them to log my coin. Thanks for the chance to let it out

At one time I saw a map that showed where my coin had been all the caches it had visited. Now I can't find it can anybody tell me if it is out there somewhere and does it work for TB also? Thanks

I have seen somewhere a program that you can pull up a map and kinda circle an area to make a pocket but I can't remember where. Can anybody help thanks

I set up one for my phone and one for my email but then it ask for primary and so I assign one as primary and thats where i get the notice sent it doesn't go to both I don't know why

Yes - who runs your email (i.e., Yahoo, gmail, etc.)? If it's a service I've used before I may be able to just send you the forwarding recipe(s) I've used. I can use gmail or yahoo I have addresses for both can you help I sure appreciate it

Yes I am using At&t I noticed that since I switched from email notices to having them sent txt to my phone even my pockets get txt to me which I dont want to have happen the auto forward would be from computer to phone? Thanks for your help

when in the field I can mark a cache found and leave a comment I get bk home and can log them in and delet the notepad but the caches still show up on the gps unit in the "show found" how can I clear them out Thanks for the help

Can you tell me if I get a PQ every other day for the same area will it only give me the new ones or will it repeat everything in the area
