  1. I have a couple of caches near water. I have only had one finder say their GPSr was pointing them into the lake. I let my GPSr sit as near to the spot as I can for several minutes and double check the accuracy. If it's within 20 feet I mark the waypoint then walk a good distance away and see if it brings me back. I hope this helps.

  2. Right now we're at 92 finds and should hit the 100 mark this coming weekend. I'm just looking for ideas. We have some cool cache nearby. One is a lagoon cache that requires a boat to find. The other is a 13 mile hike along a walking trail at a state park. There are also some really good micros. I'm just looking for input on which one you would look for. I appreciate any input and will consider all replies.

  3. I'm just wondering how this would go over. The container I have is so small that you would have to change the log almost once a week. My question is what if I put a mcro there with a "log" that only contained a word that you jad to e-mail me in order for the find the find to count? Do you think that would work and get approved?

  4. i had to do this same thing with my legend on a cache. it was a multi that took you to the first step then you had to project a waypoint at xdegrees and so many feet away. it worked like a champ and took us right to the cache.

  5. I would say to go for the Legend. I recently upgraded to the 60C/S but we still use the Legend everytime we cache and it was going for quite a bit more less than a year ago. It has alot of features for the prices they're getting now.

  6. ok how weird is this the maps work with aol using the same connection. this has me puzzled the only difference is i'm using aol's browser instead of ie explorer 6. this is the first time i've ever had a problem with this.
