  8. If anyone is interested I have another of my AE Antique Gold Gold Mining Pans on ebay with a little over an hour to go! This is the set of 3. Very few have all 3 coins/pans!
  9. After about 8 months or so of being lost I reissued the number on another copy and it started to move around and then.................miraculously the original reappeared in Europe so I had one in Europe and one in Oregon. It sure got a lot of mile going from Europe to Washington and from Washington to Europe and back to Oregon. I finally was able to get ahold of a cacher to get the madness stopped. More recently I have had a couple of trackables resurface after a year (or more) of being MIA. Just wait and hope or go ahead and remake it to travel. It is up to you!

  16. So does the size of this coin hurt it or help it? I kinda had to do it this large to get the detail and colors as gradient colors are not possible. I was thinking of doing a series as Amanda Stewart (the artist) has done several Native American themed paintings I could replicate on geocoins. Not sure how they would be received as she has painted a Bison, Wolf, Indian Head, and Chicken. I personally think the size of this coin helped.... It's a very beautiful coin. Amanda Stewart is an amazing artist and I personally would love to see a series, especially in this larger size . I have done some initial work on the second one (with approval from Amanda) and since she lives in Texas, maybe she will appear at geocoinfest for its debut??!?!?!?!
  17. Wow you have a lot of nice ones on your list! thanks for sharing.
  18. And the price? or is this a secret?
  19. It doesn't look like black Nickel so what finish is it? And the price?
  20. Anyone who has a coin left after their event please let me know so I can buy one! thanks, mo pirate
  21. Your salesperson of the year would desire ... let's see ... A raise (something above poverty level) New company car (newer than the 1972 Pinto) A reserved parking space (outside the impound lot) 4 days paid vacation this year (instead of the annual furlough) A 'large' First Aid kit (since med insurance has been cancelled) 2 more shares of Enron stock (to boost my IRA holdings) An expense account (the VISA prepaid expired 01/31/2005) Newer company phone (than the one stamped "US Army 1952" on the side) Shorter work week (24/7 is antiquated) Updated work station (faster than the dual 5.25" floppy unit) A company e-mail account (the string on the tin cup at my end broke last year) oh yes ... about the donation .... any geo-thingies or geo-coinies at all that my exhalted Task Master would care to donate for our event raffle. The raffle for attendees is free. Our Christmas Event for toy collections and geo-topics is our large event here for the year. It's the time frame where we have the largest gathering of RV-type and vacationing snowbirds visiting the area here as well as our regular geo-fanatics. Anything at all that you are comfortable with would be most appreciated. ... Our event is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th. Everyone reading this should attend and we'll make it a 'Mega' ... ******************************* GEEEEZZZZZZ Just ask a simple question and now you act like a UNION REP going ballistic on me. I think the 72 Pinto is a collectors item and the phone still works even if there is a little background static. First Aid kit is on the way! email me your address again so I send it to the right place.
