  1. Great. I was sending a mail to the treasurer to ask for the international shipping fee on january 9. Never got an answer (just that same mail than everybody else and I acknowledged that I was a human being). The next time I won't be polite and ask and will just order...
  2. We haven't got ours yet but we think it will only be a couple of days now. I wanted to edit our last post because I think it was a bit harsh but I can't find the edit button anymore...? Anyhow - we're still looking forward to these coins! Greetings, Balla & Silly
  3. Sorry, but I still don't get it. I like the idea of putting more coins into caches again but I don't understand why 3 coins shall be sent to one cacher for placing them into caches and another 3 coins will get sent to 3 different cachers that haven't got these coins yet and can keep them or pass them on? (Hope I got it all right...) Wouldn't it make more sense if everybody takes 3 trackable coins (trackable on gc.com), gets them registered on his name and sends them out to three different cachers to put them into caches (or he puts them into caches himself if he travels a lot). I don't like the second part which looks like giving away coins for other people's collections. But if everyone would release three new, trackable coins into the wilderness that would make sense to me. And maybe someone could put up a "board" where the names of the cachers with the 3 links to the wandering coin sites can be seen. So everybody can watch what will happen to all these coins... Just our two cents. Balla & Silly
  4. We also haven't received our two coins yet.
  5. I just wanted to order one coin. When I added international shipping, the costs for another coin were added, so I would have to pay $17,- for one coin! Sorry, but that's definitely a rip off. I really like your coin and the design and I would have loved to purchase one but somewhere is a limit. Regards, Balla & Silly
  6. Looks like we missed it. Already sold out and we would have loved to get one because of that dreamcatcher on it. Would you also trade one?
  7. Funny idea, we would like two, please!
  8. Parcel post is still cheaper than any letter. For us that's just making profit to the max on the back of the buyers. We are asking ourselves why we had to pay $5 for shipping and then our 2 coins got sent as a parcel? We also haven't got these coins yet and when we were talking about it on the New Year's Day Event ("Frozen Bone Cache Zone Run 2006 Event") another cacher said very annoyed that the coins still didn't arrive there as well. We wanted to give one of these coins away on that event as a gift. We are pretty annoyed now as well...
  9. Yippeah! Finally our coin #11 has arrived today, great! There was a mistake in the address again (the streetname had an "e" missing) but this time the postman knew where to deliver the precious freight... Thanks a lot, this coin will always remind us of a real tensioning and breathtaking game that made us go outside for the impossible and tied us to the PC every 24 hours. Now we are still waiting for the Christmas coins and a traded coin that was supposed to be sent 3 weeks ago... Cheers and have a nice start into the New Year with 365 days of pleasure and excitement following, Balla & Silly
  10. Fantastic card, it looks really great, thanks a lot! We also want to leave some words: Peaceful and enjoyable Holidays to all cachers and coin collectors and a Happy New Year! Balla & Silly
  11. It will be the first event in 2006 in Germany, 8 a.m. on New Year's Day, absolutely crazy. You will have to run through the freezing cold and there will be prices for the oldest and the youngest participant, the best dressed (up), the less dressed, the one who had the longest journey and so on. The guys are putting a lot of effort in it, also supporting the people with breakfast and very nice coin prices. And there will be a special event coin that will be sold to the participants first and to the public afterwards. If you want more informations just look here, but it's all in German.
  12. No luck, the coin hasn't arrived yet and we're off tomorrow morning very early for the holidays. So we keep hoping to receive it between Xmas and New Year...
  13. I'm sorry to tell but I don't collect coins.. I only buy or trade those which are trackable at gc.com and have own icon and place them in caches. So I'm gonna trade some of those that I'm seeking (you can see the list in my signature). Okay, fair enough. Even though I was thinking of trading a coin that can't be on your list yet I might just try then to purchase one on the 28th...
  14. Yes, it goes with the WOG coin. We got it today but haven't put a photo up yet. But you can also see it here.
  15. Yes, the eyes must look great. Will you also trade for other personal coins that are trackable and have their own icon or are you just purchasing them?
  16. Well, we paid $22 for 2 coins on october, 20. That's exactly two months ago now, we still don't have the coins and it's Christmas in a few days. The postage for sending them in a bubbled envelope would have been far less than $5 (usually $2,40, maybe a bit more because of the size). So we don't really understand why at least small orders of 1-2 coins couldn't be sent in a letter like all the other coins we purchased up to now. But nowadays we should be happy to get our coins at all, two traded coins are well over the time now and when we read about all the lost coins it's starting to get us worried and it puts us off the coin craze a bit (well, our bank account won't mind... ).
  17. Ouh...we would definitely like to have another variation of this great dragon coin! Looking forward to your invoice, too.
  18. Here's some good news for a change: we've got our coins in Germany today (they only took 5 days!) and the envelope was in perfect condition. Thanks a lot!
  19. We just sent a mail with a link to this thread...
  20. Oh yes, I should have made it more clear: we will use some badges and magnets as trading items or little gifts. They are no siggies because we left our gc nick out. We wanted them to be attractive for everybody, not just for us. Some people might have been to Berlin or know someone who's been here or they might just collect them like coins. We thought we make them available for everybody at a reasonable prize and just in case you didn't see the link: The buttons and magnets can be purchased here. The motive of Berlin will probably stay until the mid of january, then we might change it into something funny and international until the next idea comes up...
  21. We are still waiting for an answer and haven't got our coins yet. It would be nice to get a reaction, thank you.
  22. Today we discovered the "Coin Quest Survival buttons" and ordered them straight away (we love them!). With the weather being miserable, no new coins in the mailbox and our personal coin not being ready yet we started to design a few buttons and magnets with GEOCACHERgrüße aus BERLIN, GERMANY (GEOCACHER greetings from BERLIN, GERMANY) on it: The motive is a bit similar to one side of our coin, it shows the Brandenburg Gate with our hot beloved teddy bear (the "real" Balla) in front. A bear is also the town's landmark, he's on the Berliner flag as well. Maybe you like what we did, feedback welcome. We'll give notice as soon as our coin is available. It will be a different thread then. Cheers, Balla & Silly
  23. We would also like two of each with international shipping, please.
