  1. I had some issues with tasks not becoming active on a Colorado, where it worked fine on the Emulator - so I thought why not try the latest builder seeing that there was a new release. Well with that I cannot read anny of my previous cartridges and even the demo cartridges like the Zoo do not load. The error message is: Error Reading Cartridge. System.MissingMethodException: method not found: 'System.Collections.ArrayList ZonesFramework.Zobne.get_ZCommands()' Where can I still get a copy of the previous version of the builder? Olaf
  2. $25 postage to the UK, to be precise. I got right down to checkout but that's just too much. I am not sure which store you tried and which delivery option you selected, but if you order from the German store and as delivery option choose EU - Postal Certified then the charge is 7.90€ - this is still high but not much more then charged by the German postal service. Olaf
  3. I'm not Olaf, but they have! : That icon would make a cool coin. "The Geotick" WE WERE THINKING THE SAME THING, WOW GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE bARRY AND vALARIE AKA SWEETLIFE So do we need to rename them now? Geotickpatches? I dunno... Thanks for helping out with the answers why I slept...
  4. I bet you could strip it and embroider the numbers on yourself, if you're good with a needle and thread. Having the number embroidered would have more than doubled the cost so we went with this alternative. The threads are fairly strong, I tried to remove one which was attached up-side-down, it gave me a tough time, but I won...
  5. Those of you who have been to the Geowoodstock have already seen them, the new trackable geopatches. Now available in color or camouflage in the CacheZone shops. USA: Camo, Color Germany: Camo, Color These have velcro on the back, so can easily be attached to plush travelers... Olaf
  6. Unfortunately I do not see much of an improvement in the new BETA when it comes to display of cache descriptions. In my area there are many caches with HTML tables, one column for English text and one column for local text. When displayed on a Colorado both colums overlay and one can't read anything. I am not expecting that all HTML tags are treated correctly, but aqs a start just ignoring those that are "unsupported" would be better than a garbled display... Olaf
  7. I am no artist, the first thing I would need to create some cartridges are interesting media files, does anyone have copyright free drawings or pictures of GeoMuggles Oracle or Wizard or Genie Wild Boar (they are good at muggling, too) May we use all graphical elements from Groundspeak web pages (like cache icons, signal the frog pictures, etc.) Other suggestion on where to browse for freely available graphics? Thanks, Olaf
  8. As one of the "TB mileage addicts" out there I fully support this request. I stopped tracking my total TB mileage partially because of the unreliability. So yes please fix it - and as you are on it, see if you can calculate more mileages: like a Cacher's cache mileage (mileage of all caches found) and a Cacher's TB mileage (mileage off all TBs moved) - I would come to Seattle to say "thank you" personally if that helps... Olaf
  9. Ffffft - quite some work if you own 66 Cache Listings, and I know cachers who have more... Olaf
  10. Just checked your profile, but I don't see any mention of coins...? Sorry to hear you have to let your collection go. That's a tough choice for any collector. E-mail on the way. Edit: Ah, just clued in. Misunderstood and thought you meant you had a list of the coins (& maybe prices) on your profile front page. Yes, look at her "trackables" owned, she sells them all. I already bought 7 from her at a fair price - and now I have one of my collector's goals complete: to have at least one of each trackable Geocoin series released before 2006 So now I need another goal....
  11. And what about the "Rest of the World"? Mmmh, I am sorry we are hobbyist and don't have the resources to start an online store in every country. Of course you can order from any location in the world - but you have to go through either the US or European store... Olaf
  12. So if you have an excuse not to come you can now at least start a traveler from there We still have a few Regions of Germany Geocoins and take this opportunity to get more Geocoins "on the road again". To make these coins fit for traveling we attach a durable goal label and a little container with a log scroll. The label states the owner name and the destination city/country. We will take these to the event personally and try to do some matchmaking with the 600+ cachers there to give them a safe start. Click here to order in the US. Make sure to select the 'Event Drop' shipping method to not pay for shipment... Those in Europe can also order from our German store. Irena & Olaf
  13. Sorry for not making this available earlier but our Cache Zone store was hit by the flu wave... Slowly feeling better and we now added this coin to our store - and - still have many in stock... Slovakia Geocoin at CacheZone.eu We will also send about 50 or so to our USA store, however that will take another 3-4 weeks.
  14. Merry Christmas to all Travel Bugs! Here is a video of how we celeberate with them:
  15. Just a friendly reminder that some Geocoins selling on auction sites are still available elsewhere, sometimes for less... I believe that this posting is in line with all guidelines. All Geocoins mentioned here are Groundspeak trackable, no links to avoid "unwanted types of links" - so go find the stores - you are cachers, I know you can do that... Some of the Geocoins listed are for charity, some have never been anounced in this forum before. In case I missed a "between the lines" guideline please let me know... Cache Zone's Groundspeak Trackable Geocoin Inventory: Cache Zone USA: Less than 10 left: - RoG National Park Harz - RoG Hildesheim Less than 25 left: - Hanna Charity - 3rd Annual Championship Silver (only 145 made) - RoG Hannover - RoG Ostwestfalen Lippe Less than 50 left: - ROG Ruhrgebiet - ROG Sachsen - ROG Nordhessen - ROG Braunschweig More than 50 available: - France - 78 Tour - 3rd Annual Championship Bronze - ROG Schwabischealb - ROG Aachen Cache Zone Germany Less than 25 left: - RoG Colonia - RoG Luneburg - RoG Franken - RoG Rhein Main - RoG Muenchen (Munich) - RoG Hildesheim - RoG Aachen - RoG Sachsen Less than 50 left: - RoG Braunschweig - RoG Nordhessen - RoG Ruhrgeniet - RoG Schwaebische Alb - Walpurgis 50 or more left: - Hanna Charity Bronze - France, Tour 78 - 3rd Annual Championship Bronze - Saman Personal A few more words on 'RoG' - Regions of Germany: A total of 15 regional Geocoins were made, some in silver antique, some in polished chrome, total mintage of all 15: 5700. All trackable at Groundspeak with one common icon. Some regions are already sold out, the last three complete sets of all 15 are now available for auction: RoG Complete Set Silver RoG Complete Set Chrome RoG Complete Set Mixed Another set of 4: France Gold, Hanna Charity Silver, Championship Silver, Saman Happy X-Mas Shopping! I got my present already, a new camera, so expect to see more of these in the future: TB's and Geocoin's Vacation Video Olaf
  16. Well, the wheather forecast does look like this event is "not for whimpy cachers..." I will be there, rain or shine (unless there is so much water that the rental car can't make it within a 2-3 mile radius of the event. I'll swim the rest. Unfortunately the Geocaching server is not responding right now so I can't drop the latest TBs and Geocoins that I'll bring. From my Geocoin collection I'll bring a few highlights including a V2 Mount10Bike Geocoin. But that is just for show & tell... till later, I am leaving for the airport in a few minutes. Olaf
  17. Latest count: So far I'll bring 11 TBs and 4 Geocoins. I'll try to add a few more to this before my trip on Friday. Would be nice if I could take at least as many on my way back. C U on Saturday! Olaf
  18. Thanks everyone, - Looking forward to seeing you!!!
  19. Thanks for the answers / suggestions. As I am on a business trip my availability for caching or meeting cachers is limited to the weekend, both that Saturday and Sunday (28/29) would work for me. I will bring several activated Geocoins and Tbs that simply want to travel. I'll also bring selected items from my unactivated Geocoin collection for trading. For trade I have almost all of the Regions of Germany geocoins as well as many other European geocoins. Olaf
  20. Bump... I am now slowly starting to collect TBs and Geocoins that want to come to USA badly. I would guess that I'll bring some 10 to 20 from Europe. In case there are no volunteers to meet with me for swapping I could use some recommendations on "best places for save TB/Geocoin exchange" - anywhere along the route from JFK to Danbury, CT. Thanks, Olaf
  21. Hi, I am coming from Europe on a business trip to Danbury, CT. On Saturday, 28th of October I would be available for a TB and Geocoin Swap Meet. Anywhere within 2h driving range of Danbury would be acceptable. I am not sure how you typically handle this in your area, I think I might be spoiled: on my last trips to California and Washington local cachers hosted swap meet events for me... So any suggestion for a place and time? Early evening at a Microbrewery works for me... Looking forward to seeing (some of) you, Olaf
  22. Not all of them... Geocoins.nl and Cachezone use the regular channels and the regular base metal The majority of Geocoins available through CacheZone were made by coinsandpins. At Cache Zone we also re-sell the Stadtmeisterschaften geocoin which is made in Germany. It's a "regular" 1.75 inch geocoin, 3mm strong, made of brass. Olaf
  23. The Regions of Germany Geocoin Project entered the next stage, the 2nd set of Geocoins of this project is now available. A limited number of coins not sold directly to the locals is made available through the Cache Zone stores in Europe and the USA. While some are already sold out at the European Store, the US Store still has all 10 versions in stock. Here are the direct links to the five latest editions in the US Cache Zone store: Aachen Hannover Ruhrgebiet Sachsen Swabian Alb In the same store you also still find the German Stadtmeisterschaften and French ILE DE FRANCE Geocoins. Olaf
  24. I know it is a little on short notice, but maybe some of you are on a summer vacation in Europe anyway... In Germany it is sometimes hard to find caches with an English description. To make the Harz area in Northern Germany more attractive for intl. Cachers we will ensure an ample supply of new caches until August 5th, all with both German and English description. For more details, see Harz Cachathon and Poker Run Oh, and of course, to give you longer notice: We will have our next Frozen Bone Event on January 1st, 2007, 8AM near Wolfsburg. So see you around sometime... Olaf
