  1. Congrats Cincol on your 50th find. You're really making hay while the sun shines while here in SA. Enjoy the trip and being with your grandson - and safe journey back to Qatar (soon 50 hides too!)
  2. Damhuisclan - the first 100. Great work. And organising a flash mob event in that too!!!! Congrats.
  3. Thankss - now there's a thing. Here I sit waiting for a Malaria test as I'm not feeling well and I was working (and caching) in Uganda last week where there is both Malaria and EBOLA virus. So I'm really thankful for my health. I get my test results back tomorrow! Will let you all know - but for now I have a major headache and sore muscles. Really hoping it's just a virus.
  4. Alone and heading for the qweekend (and hopefully my century?)
  5. Thanks Carlos I did the reverse and did some caching in Oxford (just after you were here). It's always good to do some caching elsewhere. Hope to see you (and the Birdies) here again soon
  6. Yes - I am not concerned about background images or images or personal avatar. But all pics of the caches I have placed would be good to include. I also don't like just adding them as logs - because as more people find the cache - the log moves down and is not as easily acessible to people coming to look at the cache site.
  7. Would it be possible to have the photos that I add to my own caches included in my Gallery on my profile? I have added a few really nice photos, and it would be good if they were available as part of my gallery of photos uploaded. thanks
  8. Cincol - hi there - how's the weather in Qatar? Looking forward to seeing you back here in SA soon.
  9. Looks interesting. I suppose it was a matter of time before someone briughgt along a Googleearth type view onto a GPSr. A nice feature. I've done a few caches using Google Earth when my unit had a flat battery in the UK. Makes it useful when one can orientate ising features such as trees, building etc.
  10. RedGlobe - 500 - Well Done. Keep going!
  11. I'm so lonely, Mister Lonely.... At least my typing sounds better than my singing!
  12. I spy wazat (all the way from Uganda!)
  13. Please indicate if you wish to be added to the register and include in your posting your city, state and country I am prepared to assist to release more coins into either South Africa - or the rest of Africa as I travel regularly to the likes of Congo; Kenya; Rwanada; Uganda; Mozambique; Namibia; Botswana; Angola etc. My name is: Carbon Hunter I live in JOHANNESBURG, in GAUTENG province in SOUTH AFRICA I have already released a few cpins for people and l;ook forward to helping yours on their quest.
  14. Alone now - but Saw Neville Bailey earlier
  15. I recently recieved a coin from 3 Doxies to set free in Africa. It was her goal to have a coin of hers on all the continents at the same time. What is your view on your coins travelling? Where do you like them going - and where do you not like them going? There are a fair number of coins travelling Southern Africa - but fewer in Central Africa - those tend to stick for a longer time. I am about to release my furst coin soon. So I'm looking for some advice. Thanks - greetings from a hot and humid Rwanda (normally Joburg in South Africa) but here on business.
  16. Me too - got a coin from 3Doxies via this forum. When we saw it - we were hooked. Recently purchased another 6 and we will release them later in December.
  17. Sorry - add that she found it from a gift from a friend or family member when either her child was born - or she turned 18 (from her mom).
  18. I'll go with the same poem (or an extract thereof). I'll say it was delivered bu Paula herself - at 10 o'clock in the morning and Xander was awake (as most baes sleep). Lovely coin BTW. Another winner.
  19. Brilliant - a great time.
  20. Put 2 caches out there in Kiglai, Rwanda today. I hope they get approved. Off to Uganda later this week. Hoping to meet up with Ugandaguy in Kampala too.
  21. Thanks guys - well done MrJiffy. Thanks for the cointest
