I got my mission a day or so ago. Sorry fo rthe delay in updating. I will get pics up as soon as I can. I got an awesome suncatcher type coin (I am at work right now--12 hours a day 6 days a week so I don't remember off the top of my head what its called), A wooden nickel sig item and some wonderful springtime seeds. I really liked participating in my first mission. And thanks for coordinating it!!!!

I'm kinda new to the geocoin thing so I didn't have too much to offer but I am pretty sure the black hole coin didn't really get out to many people.

Here is mine- Hamburgers and onion gravy 1 lb hamburger meat onion (to taste) flour water S&P form hamburgers into patties, season, and brown in skillet with onion remove patties from skillet Mix a flour gravy using hot water and flour and pour into skillet (this will combine with drippings to form a gravy) Once slightly thickened add hamburger back to skillet and finish cooking Serve over rice or mashed potatoes No veggies, no bones, and very little time in the kitchen Good luck!

Not too bad for me--Just a sprained knee going for a FTF. A local cacher had just released a whole slew of caches that day and they were all close to me. Tragically I was only on my 2nd cache when I sprained my knee. I went home, rested it and then got bored so I went to the drugstore and bought a brace and headed (or rather hobled) out again! Since it didn't get any better that night I went to the doctor and got the official diagnosis. That was back in Feb and I still don't trust the strength of my knee yet

I recently went to my first CITO. It was located in a park that wasn't even open to the public much less had any caches in it. I actually felt privileged to be there. There were also several community service groups there as well, but the organizers were quite impressed with our dedication. Obviously we were there with no intention of placing a cache. Afterwards, the geocachers got together and went caching together so we still got to get some smiles even though it was not part of the actual CITO. While I can see both sides of the debate, I feel the intent of a CITO is to clean up and leave an area in better shape regardless of a "geocaching" gain.

I am relatively new to caching and I am also toying with the idea of a sig item. Seeing as my caching name is blackfishorca I would like something killer whale related. I can find all sorts of things relating to dolphins, or humpback whales, but being the biology geek that I am I only want to use a killer whale. I have thought about keychains with an orca charm, or an orca pin, or something along those lines but I am having trouble finding orcas small enough and cheap enough. (being new I am not quite ready to spend a large amount of money on a large order of things or to get something custom made) Any ideas?
