  1. quote:Originally posted by Criminal:OK, but what did you think of http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ It says to click the photo to enter, but I tried clicking the text that said "Click the photo to enter" and it allowed me to enter the site. Now I'm confused. Is that actually an anti-site, like the whole Superman/Bizzarro thing? Do they (the text AND the photo) both go to the same place? If so, why not say "Click on the photo, or even on this text, to enter the site. We promise that clicking on either will go to the same plae."??? Very confusing. And what's that pin thing anyway? -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan!

Aside from the obvious Nude Cacher sub-discussion that we could have (which will most likely proceed on the above-referenced thread), it looks like Nude Cacher & Co. may have had fun with this whole situation. I bet nothing spurs the will of the pirate like successfully returned cache contents, and people having fun while doing it. Comments? 3. quote:Originally posted by Jomarac5:So, am I to assume that the good folks at GeoCaching.com are going to ignore this thread as they have with several other past threads that presented topical issues? As a reminder, here are the 3 questions: 1. Is there some other use planned for the intellectual property of those who use this site? 2. When did the terms of service (Terms of Use) take effect? 3. Are any pictures/data loaded before the TOS (TOU) grandfathered 'out' of those TOS(TOU)? -- In other words, is the intellectual property that we uploaded prior to the new TOU exempt from the current TOU? ***** Talk about gun rights. That will get some attention. -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan!

  5. quote:Originally posted by georapper:i could let you in on a little secret concerning that cache, but it would only serve to light your pantyhose on fire. i think it would be great to do that but i'm not about to release this little secret just yet. when i'm ready, you know. You're the most baffling person on the forums. What kind of response was that? -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan!

We saw someone in a Geocaching.com t-shirt changing a tire on a black Suburu as we passed, but didn't get the chance to say hi. As soon as that comes in, I'm going to order the Motherlode. They're a bit slow though, it appears... heh. Yeah, I did some work for some guys in South Africa regarding shuffling some funds into my bank account. They still haven't sent me my money, and no one wil take my debit card anymore. 12. quote:Originally posted by georapper:you sound like a democrat and an aid to terrorists, lets just appease them and please them and they won't come after us. that is what the US did until 9/11. now terrorists are being hunted for their heads, maybe we should hunt for this guys head too and not wait until another 9/11 in the geocaching game. appeasement is NOT the answer!!, you democrat. -------------------- This space for rent! 14. So he's claiming he's finding caches with travel bugs, then placing them immediately back into those same caches to "monitor their movements"???? Maybe we can turn his logs into virtual geocaches? Then the cache owners who are blessed by one of his virtual-reality visits can claim a virtual cache! -------------------- This space for rent! 15. Maybe that's one cache that NEEDS a knife left in it, in case you have to fight your way through the big cats back to your vehicle.... -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan!

  17. Yes, he started out poorly, but he is also responding to the concerns voiced on this board. From all appearances, it looks like his game is grabbing travel bugs and replacing them in other caches. How is this different than what everybody here does? The only difference I can see is that he probably watched "The Pirates of Penzance" one too many times. -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan!

  20. quote:Originally posted by Paul Ag:The reply I received. It was weak. I will have to respond: RE: Old Fashioned Quaker Oats , REF.# 4783035A Hello Paul: Thanks for your OatMail about Old Fashioned Quaker Oats. During our sponsorship of the 'Sergeant Preston of the Yukon' television series in 1954 and 1955, deeds of land issued by the Klondike Big Inch Land Company were distributed in packages of Quaker Puffed Wheat and Quaker Puffed Rice cereal. Some 21 millions of deeds to square inches of land were distributed through this promotion. The real value of these deeds now, as always, is based on the romantic appeal of being a property owner in the fabled Yukon Territory rather than any intrinsic value of the one inch square pieces of property. Possibly, collectors of old premium items might be interested. Regrettably, we cannot refer you to any collectors in particular. We hope this information will be helpful. Jen Good Luck Cache Baggers - Paul Ag Write back: "Thanks for the response! Interesting idea on finding a collector, but all I really need is the address to the parcel! I have sold my home and packed my bags, I'm ready to start building on my land! Will my old Subaru reach it OK, or should I invest in horses? Also, can you provide me a list of allergens common to the area? I would like to avoid seasonal Hay Fever spikes as much as possible. Is there a department store nearby where I can buy groceries and home building supplies? I'd prefer a Home Depot, but as this IS in the Klondike, a Fred Meyer or Piggly Wiggly will be find." -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan!
  21. quote:Originally posted by Grin'n'Bearit:As you have all have probably noticed I have totally revised the cache to meet some of the concerns. I've put allot of thought into the what route I want to take the cache. I have removed the secrecy and surprise factor. There is no longer a restriction on logging your visit. The concerns of dangers by un-susupecting cachers is solved by having them reading the forums before visiting. I was also considering only putting the cordinates in the forum so anybody interested in the cache would have to read the forum to find the cordinates to the cache. They may after reading the forum decide it isn't the cache for them. The cache is also on the easier side of the rift. It is easy to get to and there are trails to follow. I also wanted to make sure those that helped in the search for Hell Hole also got well deserved credit for there efforts. I'm also thinking of making certificates of excellence for there hard work. Maybe put them in the cache to be picked up at there convenience. Sounds good. I'm glad you found that traffic was far heavier than was previously thought. -------------------- This space for rent! 22. quote:Originally posted by Criminal:OK, I'm laughing, what's up with the avatar? http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ What? I found this thing while digging around in my home state of....aw, never mind. I took the "What is this?" picture from your site and digitally removed the pin from the back so I could see what the design was. That was....2 weeks ago? I ran across the image again while cleaning out some files and thought "That would make a cool avatar, even if I'm not a meatcutter."
