It's solar powered and you have to push certain soft drink buttons to get the door to open.

I placed (GC1WTY5) Sodie-dope motel about two months ago and as soon as I submitted it I recieved notification that it had been published. Within 20 minutes I had two cachers sitting at the parking coords. However I have had some go the better part of a week before the ftf.

The gold bar was made from epoxy putty that I molded around a 1" round by 0.5" thick neo magnet. The lock on the inside had the same kind of magnet on it and when the bar was placed on the outside of the chest it attracted the magnet on the inside and opened the lock.

I really like this thread and have gotten a few ideas from it, so I thought I would post a few pics to help keep it going. This is a treasure chest I built that was part of a multi. The first stage was a micro that had the coordinates to stage two which had a small magnetic gold bar and instructions to take the gold bar to stage three. Once at stage three you found the chest and had to place the gold bar on an X that was burned into the lid of the chest in order to unlock it.
It survived the weather and stayed dry for a long time until a bear found it and chewed it up beyond repair so I had to archive it.

I never wore a hat until my wife bought me a camouflage Komatsu hat. When it wore out I ordered 3 more in camo, 1 in red, and 1 in white. Now I feel naked without one.

If someone wants to hide a container in plain site and replace it everytime it gets muggled then thats fine with me. I mean its there money. However I would not want to leave a travel bug in it or have one of mine left in it by someone else.

I like the idea of wooden nickels and poker chips but I wanted something different so I started hand carving little traffic cones and putting stickers with my name on them. I made the stickers with a dymo label maker. The reason I chose traffic cones is because they say something about me since I work in road construction. From start to finish it takes about 30 minutes each to make one.

I recently created a cache that requires the finder to have an app installed on their smart phone in order to solve a puzzle and find the cache. After doing a search for caches with the phrase( app for that )I found that there are several active caches that require an app on a smart phone to solve a puzzle. However, when I submitted my cache I got a notification that it had been temporarily disabled so I could edit the cache page and bring it into compliance with current guidelines. In an attempt to do this I added the following warning that I found in the guidelines.
"Alert: You are about to download a file that contains further details needed to find this geocache. As the cache owner, I represent that this file is safe to download although it has not been checked by Groundspeak or by the reviewer for possible malicious content. Download this file at your own risk. [insert link here]"
When I resubmitted it I recieved a notification that it had been archived and the reason I was given was that "An app is not an acceptable file type and therefore I am not able to publish your cache." I also recieved a link that I could use to appeal the decision. I appealed it but haven't got a reply yet.
I was hoping that someone in here might be able to explain why downloading an app is acceptable on some caches but not on mine.
