  1. I forgot try searching all forums which these choices are to the left side. Also there is Search titles only and search entire post. For more to the point and less haggle use search title only so as you don't get post that just mention your key words.
  2. Lately I have noticed that a lot of people are asking questions that have been previously asked Like the quetsion asked in this topic http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=85093 another example try searching true north you should get 15 different topics all about the same thing. If something so little as true north comes up 15 times most of your questions have probaly been previously asked. So I thought that mabye people don't know how to properly use the search engine. Before you post a topic asking a question try searching it here is how to. HOW TO SEARCH: In the top right you will see several buttons one of them should be the search button click it. Type in the topic you are searching. Now here comes the real problem. Look at some of the search options. One of them will give you the option of searching topics or posts to save some inconviences click the topic one. Another option will be how far back to search. Now you may not find your question has been posted in the last 30 days so try looking further back I usually look as far back as possible. If you follow these tips you should get the answer to your question faster and make it easier for other people to get the answer to a question. Now I understand that some topics need updating once in awhile such as surveys and such but for everything else try searching it first it will save you a lot of time. Thank you, Shoobie & the Sand Crabs
  3. well i woudn't make it so that you are able to count it as a find or unless you play paintball because I would obviously have to make it a 5/5 and this would take away the pride of the people who did it the right way but what you were saying was what I was going to dop.
  4. of course you would be able to shoot back but only one gun per person.
  5. I think the "Do not keep me" should be a larger size in print then the rest.
  6. I'm from Canton North Canton to be exact.
  7. any cache in portage lakes such as this one http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...bd-a2ec92d0cd89 well I guess that is just us I don't think we have found one there yet but I do know that I'm never going back there
  8. As long as you don't have to use some type of pointy object your in the clear.
  9. You also might run into problems with the section on Commercial caches because of the location: If you aren't even planning it for this year, I certainly wouldn't put too much work or thought into it right now, but before the time comes, you might want to run your ideas past your local cache reviewer first. The cache would not be a commercial cache because it would be played on a field where there would be no expense.
  10. I think the largest amount of cachers are in suburban areas

I think we are thinking of it in different perspectives I think this it is trying to find a cache but at the same time trying to avoid being hit by a paintball. Thanks fro anwering
  12. I think you are on to something here ... I for one would pay to go watch a bunch of drunken geocachers wandering through the woods, attempting to shoot at each other while seeking a cache ... which would preferably be hidden 30 feet up a skinny tree. LOL but please try to keep this on topic. Keep it on a paintball geocache of any type thanks. Shoobie, As stated many times in this thread, a paintball event is not a geocashing event. It doesn't meet the guidelines. While your proposal may be of interest to some cachers, it's primary purpose is not to discuss geocaching, or be anything but a temporary cache that would not be available for all cachers. If you want to try to organize something along these lines, go to a local paintball field and propose it to the owners and use your regional forum to publicize it. Just my thoughts. Cache Well I am sorry but I must disagree with you the cache would be only for paintballing cachers just as scuba caches are just for scuba cachers. The primary event would be to find a geocache but you have to avoid being hit by a paintball at the same time. Thank you

  14. I am not real sure how to take this, I was not talking about a Geoching event or even trying to list it as one. The idea came out of this thread is all. I'll just shutup now. Sorry if I misunderstood. Since this is a forum about geocaching, and it's posted in a topic about making paintball geocaches, I a**umed when you talked about making an event it was a geocaching event. you have a point so let's try to keep this topic on a geocaching paintball event or else a moderator will try to shut this down Thank You.
  15. Nobody can be so amusingly arrogant as a young man who has just discovered an old idea and thinks it is his own. Sydney J. Harris (courtesy of Harrald) sorry
  16. LOL too funny. We used to play paintball out at my brother in laws 40 acres all the time. Fun fun ow. I don't understand what you mean this is too funny. Oh no your probaly going to steal my idea too.

  18. I don't see any council patch. See this one is different then mine. they are just regular old patches for cub scouts. So i still have the power to say that they did steal my idea.
  19. I was jsut about to say that! Why not say "geocache event at Jims BBQ at 5PM. we will be playing paintball that day right around the corner, meet time for paintball is 9AM. meet time for official geocache event at Jim's BBQ is 5PM or whenever we get done busting a cap in somebody's a**." I was just talking about this earlier today and we were debating how to pull off an event. now I know.... ahhh!!!! more people are stealing my ideas
  20. that was a really good idea. I could really use one of those. Now do you understand what you mean. My condolences .
