Yesterday a big packet arrived, coming from the US. A packet? Where did I order so many coins? :P

After unwrapping I found a lovely coin-loving turkey guarding a box with some little bars of chocolate, two micro-caches, 2 little scarecrows, a logbook a cloth to remove poison-oak and 4 (in words: four!) coins: a non-trackable coin (could be a Cherry of a cache - will search for it) and 3 trackable coins: a white dragon clan (as I remember, the packet sits at home, i must sit at my office), an adopt a site and a dark side of the cache coin, all lying on lots of fall leaves. I was out of words! Thanks a lot, you secret mission sender. You made not only my day, but also my son's (with the chocolate, he loves mint :( )! Thank you very much!

  3. Well, it's Monday night here in Australia, and I packaged up all my trades and sent them on their way overseas this afternoon.

Same here: Monday's over, all the coins are mailed and gone. It was a great fun and I'm looking forward to the next math trade.

  4. Thanks again zZZz for your great work doing this.

Same from here! 7 out of 9 coins traded - wow! :D

Just one question. I think I got it but just want to be sure: The line

(WUTZEBEAR) 79 receives (SWEDENHAWK) 35 and sends to (GENERAL_TUPPERWARE) 171

means I get coin #35 from swedenhawk and send #79 to general_tupperware; the last nummer, 171 is just the link to the next trade in the circle. Correct?

  5. Hope that this is okay for you (yes, I will read this thread before I start)

No matter which option you choose (wait some more or run your prog), it's ok for me.

I'm sitting here chewing my nails back to the elbow :D waiting for the results, but on the other hand there's no need to hurry and loose some coins not to be traded.

  6. I'm sure, Team zZZz will give you a more detailed walkthrough on his next visit, so here's the short one about the first math trade.

We participants posted our coins to enter the trade in a local forum during a time frame of AFAIR three days. Then all offered coins were listed together (that's Team zZZz's part as moderator of this trade) and everybody got some days to send his wish-list to him (via PM or mail). When all wishes are sent, he'll analyze them using that software and post the resulting trades.

  7. And that's the point where everyone of us should use his or her brain when searching for or when hiding a cache.

The cache on the railroad track? I've never heard of that - did you? And on the other hand you should ban the area of 150feet aside every street - to prevent geocachers being lured between the cars.

Back to topic: if the reason for this 150ft-area is a legal one, then it's a US-special ban-area that doesn't have to be transfered to every other country.

  8. This comes pretty close to leaving an object such as a geocache there.

I disagree, it's not always pretty close. I've never heard of a bomb (and that's the reason for the dropped-luggage-rule, as there were some bomb-alarms on forgotten suitcases) with the size of a 35mm-filmcan. With ammoboxes you're right, but micros or nano caches are different.

  9. ...but in the USA, the railroad right-of-way is considered their private property, and they strictly enforce it.

Over here the railroad right-of-way exists for the railroad tracks, but not for the area around it. Between stations the right-of-way ends besides the tracks, but doesn't stretch 45m/150ft to each side.

Railroad stations and other installations are different, as the railroad company "Deutsche Bahn" (means "German Railroads") is the owner of the estates, but also here: the ownership and all other rights end at the border of the estate, but does not stretch out.
