  1. Hello,

     

    As reported previously, there is a problem with our Profile Found Caches.

    When I try to see MY found caches. The result is all geocaches in the world instead of the ones found only.

    If I want to look trought the last earthcaches or mysteries I found for some reason I have to search for it like if I was looking for anyone cache.

    We can't even see our own found caches from our profile. This is a really annoying problem to me.

  2. Well, I don't care other geocachers to know the caches I found but I just don't want anybody to know where I am or what I did for my holidays. My friends can still see my found caches.

     

    Like luckycharmerl, I just want to be able to look for a specific cache for some reason among the caches I found on MY account (Profile/ Geocaches/ Geocaches Found (All Geocache Finds)).

    That lead us to a regular search with all caches in the world instead of the caches we found.

    We don't have access to our own found caches anymore, that's kind of crazy in my opinion.

    I have the same kind of problem but the ! Icon appear on my caches list not on the map :

    I log all my caches the same way (draft when on the field, export to geocaching back home and log from the Pending Draft List).

    But I have more and more caches randomly showing the ! Icon for no reason.

     

    The solution of editing the caches one by one is not acceptable I have to many of them and the point of the drafts is not to have to log the caches twice.

     

    Of course I have no pending draft either in the App or the website.

     

    Does anyone else have this problem and know what to do about it ?

  4. Hello,

    I have a problem sending a photo in the Message Center.

    I resize it to be under 5Mo. I send the message, it seems to upload, the "Send" button is grey. But at the end the Send button is green again but the photo don't appear to be send.

     

    I tried again after resizing the photo under 3Mo. Same thing, it's "sending" for a little while but nothing happen.

     

    I tried to send it with the app, I charge it directly from Google Photos without any resize and it worked !

     

    What are we supposed to do to send a photo from the website ? It's mandatory for some virtuals.

    After writing that I realized if the cache does not show up to a non-Premium Member they would have no way to log it online. I guess maybe on your log as Premium Member include the other cacher's user name in the narrrative - won"t  help his stats but the history of finding is there.

     

    I am sure there will be  better responses.

     

    As said in the topic, the caches are found with me, a premium member.

    There is no need to open the Premium cache to log it with a Basic account. As also explain, we used to log premium caches without any problem just using the correct adress.

     

    I don't understand how your respond have anything to do with the question asked.

  6. Hello,

    Yesterday I was logging my son caches that he found with me during our holidays. I'm a premium member my son is not.

    I realised that we can't log premium caches anymore with the new logging page. When we use the log adress https://www.geocaching.com/live/geocache/GCxxxxx/log it returns an ERROR 500.

    If we try to use the old adress https://www.geocaching.com/play/geocache/GCxxxxx/log it returns on the live adress and the ERROR 500.

    We're not allowed to log premium caches for our kids or partenairs anymore ? They do find these caches.

    Well, in the case of AL Bonus, it's simple, posted coordinates are at the first stage of the AL and other stages are listed in the multi cache. 

    I have an another one where you have to look at something on the field at the first stage and then collect clues in every cache to get the multi bonus coordinates.

     

    But I understand what you say for other kind of Bonus caches. I'm just really supprised that I never eared a word about that from the reviewers when I published my Bonus Caches that are not Mystery.

    You collect clues at each stage (traditional caches along the way or stages from the AL) so it is exactly the same thing than a multi cache. There is nothing to solve, how is that a Mystery cache ?!

  9. Where is it say that Bonus Cache are always Mystery caches ? 

    My Labcache bonus is a multicache. It has been published so I guess it is on with the Guidelines.

    I have several Bonus which are not Mysterys. I have multis, Letter boxes et Wherigos. 

    The fact that mysteries are often choose to make a Bonus always seems weird to me because mysterys are supposed To be solved at home not on the field.

    Didn't know there where a rule about that.

    It seems there is trouble with EVERY cartridges, not just some ... I tried with all my cartridges that are already uploaded and validated, none of them are working, always the same error "You are attempting to upload an invalid GWZ file".

     

    Same thing to DOWNLOAD cartridges, tried with many cartridges none of them are downloaded and always the same error ...

    That problem goes on for more than tow weeks, that's a very long time to fix it.

    And there is no information on the site to inform user that there is some issues, we have to surch on forums to know a maintenance goes wrong, it would be nice to put a message on page instead of the error that we don't spent hours to understand why it's not working !

    Anyway, we can't play any Wherigo caches nor publish one, what a pity !
