  1. Hi, Yes I did receive your coins with no problem. They have been added to the grand prize pool with the others I have received. Best Regards, Jason aka MRJIFFY
  2. Only about 12 more of the trade only coins available for trades for building of the grand prize pool of coins. Thanks to everyone for their participation so far. Email me if you want in on the action before they are all gone. Based upon the trades so far, should be a great collection of coins for the winner at the end of Summer! Hi, Here are some photos of the trade only version of the Summer Meltdown coins. The cointest should still be on track to start on June 21st, 2008. I expect the coins in hand on the first few days of June, at which time I will mail out the traders. I have received 19 of the 40 trades that I had set up, so if you have not sent out your trades yet, please do so ASAP otherwise I will offer up the trade only coins back up on the trade forum. I have asked the final finish on the copper version to be a bit darker (more antiqued) than the sample which should bring out the colors more on the coin. Best Regards, MRJIFFY
  3. Hi, an update for everyone. The coins are finally in final production and should be in my hands in the first few days in June. The sale post for the Black Nickel version of the coins will be posted in this thread shortly after. The cointest thread will be under a separate thread starting a couple of days hopefully prior to the June 21st start date of the cointest. I had 40 traders that I had committed to trades, but only 19 of the traders have sent in their coins so far. If you had committed to a trade for the copper trader only version of the coins, please send your coins in ASAP otherwise I will need to seek out other geocachers to trade with. I have posted a photo of the BN version of the coin so you can get a look at it. Best Regards, MRJIFFY
  4. NS Fact - Off the coast of Nova Scotia lies tiny, irregular-shaped Oak Island. In 1795, Daniel McGinnis and two friends found an old ship's tackle block hanging above a filled-in depression on the island. They dug thirty feet down, finding three oak platforms at ten-foot intervals. Nine years later, a more concerted effort to uncover what lay underneath began. More oak platforms were found, as well as a "cipher stone" in obscure symbols that were interpreted to indicate an enormous treasure below. Several channels were later found that connect to the island's beaches that serve to flood the shaft with water. Even with the benefits of modern technology, the bottom of the pit, and the treasure supposedly there, has not yet been uncovered. It is also not known whose treasure it is, or why they went to such trouble to bury it. Knock Knock Who's there? Arch! Arch who? You catching a cold

  19. Well, I know I am not in the top ten, but wanted to say thanks for being so generous on the forums!
  20. You might also want to try Queen Elizabeth Park. There are some fun caches there, and even though there is some muggle factor, its not as bad as Granville Island. I was recently on a trip back home to Vancouver and there was about 6 or 7 in the park available. Lots of parking also available if that is an issue. Enjoy your trip.
  21. Hint.....The Highland Geofairy is female LOL...I was referencing the original recipient of the first Highland Geofairy coin! MRJIFFY
