  1. I love Pez candy....it would never make it to the cache! It sucks here in Sweden, they have Pez, but they are all white, no artificial colors, Pez candy is boring here!
  2. All I can say is wow.... Not quite I almost died when I seen the wpxi logo because one of the babes works for the station. I thought someone was messing with me. Steel City Babes Last ditch effort before dragging my pregnant, tired hiney off to bed, it's midnight here in Sweden! PM me and let me know if I got close? I can at least go to bed knowing that I tried
  3. you sign 11 You played softball 1972, however, was the breakthrough year, and the beginning of an NFL dynasty. Rookie Franco Harris joined the team and ran for 1,055 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. Pittsburgh finished 11-3, first place in the AFC Central, and made the playoffs for the first time since 1947. The team had an even better 1975 season. Pittsburgh ran off an 11-game winning streak and gave up more than twenty points in only two games. Mel Blount was named AFC Defensive Player of the Year, Franco Harris had 1,246 rushing yards (second behind O.J. Simpson), and Lynn Swann caught 11 touchdown passes. Their divisional playoff game was against the Wild Card New York Jets. Roethlisberger threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown by Reggie Tongue, but a Hines Ward touchdown catch tied the game at 17-17 in the fourth quarter. Jets kicker Doug Brien had two chances to win the game with a field goal in the final two minutes of regulation, but both kicks went wide left. Jeff Reed kicked a field goal 11:04 into the extra period to win the game, 20-17.
  4. LMAO it could have happened... Hey, I tried, lol! I wouldn't be offended for a consolation prize if you felt so inclined...especially since we can't get jelly belly's here in Sweden
  5. There were three storms named after the three scb's and you three were discussing this one night over drinking hurricanes at a bar and admiring the color of the drink in an alcohol induced haze

  9. Good Lord, ya'll, he's just a kid, lay off him and be happy for him, geez... Good going, DH, I'm really happy for ya, kid!
  10. OK, I kinda like this one. Me too! I was thinking of the olden days when they used old Sears catalogs cut into squares, hehehe!
  11. Could it have been something dead decomposing?
  12. I would like to nominate LoriDarlin. I'm relatively new here, haven't made a lot of friends, hopefully I've made some friendly impressions, though, hehehe! I have a lot to learn about coins and collecting, but thanks to Lori, I've got a decent start! We are pretty much perpetually broke, no one's fault, really, just one of those thangs - a family of 4 with one on the way living on a single income while hubby studies part time in addition to working full time to attain his dream of becoming a priest in the church here in Sweden. Lori was so generous and sweet. I contacted her about her special personal coin that I took such a shine to and wanted to find a way to buy it, but she could only trade it. I had nothing to trade! NOTHING! I could send good vibes and prayers, but nothing else. Lori took me under her wing, so to speak, and said she'd send me her coin as a gift. I was anticipating one coin, but nooooo, not from this generous soul! I got two of her coins in different metals, poker chips, wooden nickles, three other trackable coins, and her sweet, funny personal coin in the mail about a week later! You could have knocked me over with a feather! It was so generous and so nice and such a surprise! I've since had the chance to talk with her over MSN a few times and have discovered that she and I share a lot of things in common, viewpoints and other things, and I feel so lucky to have stumbled across a person like that! She is a blessing! ********************************************************** Steph, although it's your cointest, I'd nominate you... I have had very little contact with you, but I keep seeing the things you do for others and the way that you leave a smile on their faces, from your cointests to what you did for Donutdog to the photos you post of your beautiful area! I think you, too, are a blessing here, and you should know it! ********************************************************** Hopefully someday I'll have the opportunity to meet many of you when we head back over the pond... until then you're always welcome to visit here! 13. We're interested, too, but need more information, too! Mainly costs and available flavors!
  14. Start buying those lottery tickets and let me know when you hit it and become independently wealthy, that way you can adopt me and I can go caching all the time, too !
  15. I think the bug likes a warm heart, a fun sense of humor, a generous spirit, a creative streak, and a little begging, to be honest Those type of things seem to really attract him!
  16. Great pics and story and congrats! To those still anxiously wishing to be bit I wish you all luck and hope that you get bit soon!
  17. Great job, I do cakes, too, and I know that it's not so hard as it looks, but not as easy as it looks, either! *impressed*
  18. We'll have to check your passport. Will a copy of my Texas Driver's License work
  19. Can I suggest that you download Opera's Mobile browser? Since I discovered it I've left the wap page behind! My phone isn't the most high tech, either, it's a Nokia 6131, and it works beautifully with the Opera app!
  20. All your ideas are sound. Dollar store is your friend! If you want little girl stuff, just look for sparkly things. Our 7 year old goes nuts for it Bracelets, lanyards, marbles with pretty patterns, figurines, pins - she loves these type things! Glass marbles, cars, figurines and keychains are what we have for boys. Keychains, moose warning stickers, skeeter/tick wipes, personal sized packs of wet wipes and kleenex packs and glass hearts, flowers and suns are out more grown-up items. What we leave is determined by what is there or what we take. A box of junk/trash uually gets one of each item so the next person isn't disappointed like we were. A box of adult stuff gets a couple of kids things, a box of kids stuff gets something grown up. That's how we do it. Most of our things are things I would trade for if I found them myself, and they range from 25 for a buck to 3 for 1 to a buck apiece. We don't break the bank and have nice things that way!
  21. Those are the WORST!!!! I'm dealing with them now and never want to again. Anyone have any good tips on relieving this agony?? Folk remedy is to dab clear (or colored if you want to make a fashion statement) nail polish over each spot.
  22. Incredible! How on Earth did you manage this! Will you get the coin back?
  23. Ugh, what a mess... forgive me for saying this, but better you than me! Please be sure that you've checked every little bodily nook and cranny, including up in the hairl and places where the sun don't shine for those little nasty buggars! Lyme disease is not fun and deer ticks are big carriers! If you do find one attached, do NOT squeeze it. That causes it to regurgitate the contents of its stomach and that is where the disease bacteria lives. Get a tick remover and use it and if I'm not mistaken, you can save the tick and have it tested! Good luck... and remember... bleach is our friend in the washer....LOTS of bleach *scratching and shuddering*
