Thanks! Well I called the reservation line, who told me that I needed to call the hotel specifically because we are arriving a day early. So I called the hotel got put on hold twice and then talked to the RUDEST PERSON EVER! She told me to call the reservation line because "That's what we have a reservation line for!" I know Dressel Dragons mentioned the person who has the GCF info is on vacation til next week could someone in the GCF committee please PM me her name and I'll just wait until next week to make reservations instead of tommorrow.

If you do get the hotel use the group rate when making your reservation. I think it's GCF. It took the rate to I believe $98. The rate is $94/night, and Eric is right about the code...GCF. Is this prepay or credit card hold? I know most hotels around here is prepay. Just want to make sure!

Wish I could have participated in the Eastern time Zone contest but I was a field trip all day (would have been a GREAT photo opp) and didnt read forums until late. Our field trip with 70 kids was to a minor league baseball game where they had splash day with firetruck hoses and water guns and water balloons! Congrats to all the recent new agents!!! LOL... er...exposing ourselves as geocachers/GSAs-in-training publicly... Dang. Well as soon as i figure out the time difference I'll decided if I can participate....pacific time "I believe is a 3 hour difference from me so that would be 3 in the morning....umm "I don't think so". Can't wait to see the pictures, nevertheless!

It's very cool to see that its not just folks in the US volunteering! Can't wait to see what's up first! I cant wait to see pictures! I didnt volunteer because my state had already been spoken for so it'll be nice to see what is posted.

I would like a V2 GSA geocoin because....well who wouldn't! It's one of the coolest mystery coins filled with intriuige and sauveness. What kid growing up didnt want to be like Inspector gadget, Agent 86, Dangermouse, 007, or the Spy Kids. They had all the gadgets and did the neatest things. I also would not sell any of my mystery geocoins because there is never a reason too. You can always pay it forward to someone else or trade so that someone else can enjoy the mystery. I have seen many of the mystery coins and even have gifted a few but this would be my first mystery coin. Thanks!

That's right because this gives the people who actually live in a state/province/country to showcase their "home" area. If I picked someone from South Carolina and they did North Carolina and South Carolina caches, than anyone who volunteered from North Carolina wouldn't be picked down the road because it was already "showcased". That is why I said no vacation caches, yes, I really meant that. The only thing I can suggest is if someone does not agree with the terms of the "CHALLENGE" is to not volunteer. So there'd only be one person possibly from each state too?
