So I seen alot of people on here doing cointests and thought it would be fun to give away one of my new handcrafted Signature coins. Hey no worries I am new to collection and can only suggest what I like personally. I do like your coin just think that a all metal finish on the back with maybe purple lettering would make it a little more desireable, at least for me. I know I like coins that have at least one part that shows off a finish. I will also recommend having it minted in more than one finish. Gold, Black Nickel, Nickel, Copper, and the list can go on.... Its all about what you want in your coin.

I think thats the best way to do it to be honest. Maybe more than just purple? I dunno maybe a metal finish on the back instead of color to break up the purple? just my thoughts

I got to thinking today that it would be neat for some geocoin collectors gathering and having a Texas Holdem Tournament. I would be willing to host it somewhere here in ohio. I think it would be neat for buy in you donate a coin to the pot, and can rebuy up to 2 times with stipulation being 2 coins per buy in. Winner takes home all the coins! Has this been done before or is this even a good idea. Heck I dunno even how many collectors are in my area of southwest Ohio.
