  2. Just a thought...any found caches loaded? Would make IDing the owner pretty quick if they are a cacher. It was in our local newspaper lost and found. Just passing it on.
  3. A Garmin GPSr was found at Clam Beach in Humboldt county CA.Call 707-444-2549 to identify.
  4. Just did a check on my 62s. Had no problem with the distances I Have Beta 2.92
  5. Thanks Chrysalids, that did the trick. Again thanks for all the help
  6. Do you mean that you did a PQ and selected "that I have found" or did you do the actual My Finds query? If the former, that's the problem. The standard PQ only returns the last 5 logs, which won't include yours most of the time. If you go to the bottom part of the page and click the "Add to Queue" button under My Finds, that should include your logs, with the dates. I just did a PQ of My Finds on the bottom of the page and it still did not give me the dates of my finds in GSAK. I wonder if I am missing some thing in GSAK?
  7. Hi My PC went down and a had to reinstall GSAK. I did a pocket query of my finds and it did not have the dates of my finds. Is there any way to get the dates with out going to all of my logs. Thanks

    Hide & seek Issue

Doesn't it just give you that warning, and then actually give you a page of 20 caches cenetered on your zip code? It does for me. Perhaps it only works for us non-premium members No it does not
  13. When I go to the Hide & seek page and type in my zip code or address I get Location for zip code could not be determined same with my address. I have tried it on IE and Firefox. Can any one help?
  14. I retrieved a red jeep Tb from a cache that it was not logged into. I E-mailed the last one that had it to see if he forgot to log the drop. He retrieved it on 9/20/07, but since then two others have discovered it on 12/20/07. Any idea what I should do Thanks PS The two that discovered it on 12/20/07 did not find it in the cache that I retrieved it from.

  17. I picked up a TB at a cache and entered the #'s on the tracable items page and it came up with not in the system. I have placed it in another cache. What do I do now?
  18. Ok I just received my city navigator 2008 update, and I have a Vista HCx. Do I have to uninstall the maps on the card and the PC or does the update installs right over what what I have Thanks for the help be forehand
  19. I just got off the phone with Grrmin, and they are sending out V2008 FREE UPGRADE to me . I don't know -- but I did find a place that sells City Nav NA NT 2008, luckily: ehqonline. It was only $111.29, free same-day shipping. I checked the forums for others' experiences with ehqonline and they seemed quite positive, so I went ahead and ordered it. Me too. For the cost difference, I'd rather have 2008 up front.
  20. SO in other words I need a DVD R&W. the reason I am asking is that I have an old PC that has a dvd R only that I maybe able to install Ah...didn't know you had one already...you don't need an RW. The one you've got will work for installing. By the way, oddly enough, the R means writeable, while the W means rewriteable. Just to add to the confusion, the + and - are different formats, so +/- RW covers four different types of (re)writable DVDs. A plain DVD drive (no write capability) would still work for you in installing software anyway. Thanks for all the help and input. now I can order CN.
