Must Do Geocaches In Burlington Ontario and area
DyverDown replied to northern_bc_fam's topic in Canada
I guess I'd have to be partial to the Blue Ghost Tunnel as well Any of the caches along the Bruce Trail are awesome... great vista's and out of the way places Thanks so much for the quick reply. My niece and nephew are new to geocaching and are totally hooked! My daughter and I, well we are geocache addicts!! -
WHAT!!???! The reviewers are not going to publish their home and work numbers?? AND, not a cell and pager so I can get hold of them day and night? Ohh come on... That is ridiculous... How am I supposed to hound them about caches, complain about the speed of reviews, and generally annoy them for the crappy way they volunteer their time for free so I can play this game???? This is all about ME isn't it? WOW... I for one am shocked, no appalled at their unwillingness to serve me... DD No one, and I mean NO ONE, jumps the line because they know a reviewer. Some of my friends have been known to text me to give me some update about something or have a question about a guideline, but often I still reply with "Can you email me at my reviewer account?". But I think it would be accurate to say that they ALL know that they are friends with BQ and that CD does not have a cell phone. Maybe you guys can petition Groundspeak to provide us all with iPhones As a Volunteer, I don't care for being Voluntold when to do it. Only one cacher can reach me at work LOL. CD

Or, just create a throwaway email address to email the answer in with.

Just to add to that, I think if it takes too long, some of the 200 will have had their interest wane.... I think there is a function of length of "hang time" vs interest level

Just wondering if the coins that were sent in are on display??? I think I had a grand total of 1 logged visit to mine??? Hmmm.... DD

Chain around the rock with screw closed type chain connector links ? I don't know if you are keeping the ammo can full of water or air, but if it's full of water, that may help keep it there... DD

Replanted trees, or a reforested area? (Maybe the wind howls down the tree rows? I dunno... DD

I was thinking of bringing it, more to use as a GPS... just not "bringing a GPS" information on wireless telephones is on the link Portland Cyclist posted i wouldn't bother, last time i was there you were not even able to call toll free numbers and you had to get an operator to make any other calls, i don't think much has changed

Unfortunately we will not be heading there for the FTF party... we will be on our side completing an Earthcache, then heading back indoors LOL It'll have to wait till we get around to "that side of the lake" in the future... It was definitely fun completing all the caches though! Team DyverDown

Like the license plate says TRUST NO ONE We WILL be there for sure... that is, if you even see us... we are so good at the art of deception... I could be you. DD

Ok, I feel it is my duty to step in and solve this potentially volitile situation. Send me either one of the GPS's and I will, yes I know, at great inconvenience to myself - not to mention the hardships I will no doubt endure, use your GPS for as long as you deem it necessary.... All this at no cost at all to you... Merry Christmas! DD get an Oregon
