You've obviously missed Omally when you've been out & about then or you wouldn't have to ask that question Hey! I'm never naked, I'm always wearing plenty of mud!! What a lovely picture that paints... NOT! -
Just as he gets to 999, tell him either 1) It's all been a big joke on him or 2) Tell him that to make it fair on new people we are all starting from zero finds again.. or can you think of something better?

Could you get local cachers to set and look after their local parts of the mega-cache?

The Dangers Of Being Too Clever
Mr & Mrs Hedgehog replied to NickandAliandEliza's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
I used to have a pen pal in Holland and I used to write part of the letter to him in Dutch. Everytime he used to say that my dutch was good but I had made a couple of small mistake, which he would then go on to describe to me. So I thought I was doing ok until I went to meet him. Things were fine until we got back to his parents place, where he introduced me as the guy from England who likes to write in Dutch. To which his mother replied, how much they love my letters as they think my dutch is so funny. I stuck to English after that... -
congrats from the both of us

Well this is the first, semi decent (weekend) day we've had for caching for a while. Mrs H and I took advantage of it and did 3 caches (and a not found of a fourth - which Sandstorm found later that day--- grrr One of the caches we were the 4th people to visit..
-
my point exactly
-
congrats from both of us..

but surely if they were doing caches that they haven't done before then they would use their own caching names. I know I would. So I've always assumed that at least one of them had done these caches before, knew that they could quickly bag them, and so teamed up to try to log as many caches as possible in a day and to try to get a record. So if they have done the caches before, then is their record really valid..... finding a cache you've already found is much easier then finding it for the first time.... Peter
