Yes to both of your questions. While my language preference was set to English, the friend league page appeared in German. I selected English at the bottom of the page (it was already highlighted) and the page reloaded in what I believe was Finnish. I then selected Italian and I got what I asked for. At last, I selected English again and this time it was okay. I dropped a travel tag last night and didn't get any point for this.

"placed it" c'est ce qui se passe quand quelqu'un a déposé (drop) le TB. Tu pourras aussi parfois voir "grabbed it" quand un TB est pris des mains d'un autre géocacheur (sans passer par le dépôt dans une cache). Et plus rarement peut-être encore tu verras "marked missing" quand le propriétaire du TB ou le propriétaire de la cache où le TB est sensé se trouver actent le fait qu'il a disparu.

Actually, it is not HTML but BBcode. When Groundspeak switched from BBcode to Markdown in logs, they maintained BBcode for waypoints descriptions (or they forgot about it). Therefore, nowadays, you'll have to know three different types of text formatting : HTML for cache description, BBcode for waypoint description and Markdown for log text. Hopefully, BBcode is close enough to HTML.

OK. I finally just tried for myself. Line breaks do not work for me anymore. But [br] alone works! First line of waypoint's description.[br] Second line of description. This is how I made up this waypoint of mine.

Well. I just looked at my caches. Some of my waypoints descriptions do contain line breaks (aka "press enter") and it just works. For what it worths, waypoints description may be written in BBcode (this is not documented anymore, as far as I know). It is (was?) true even after the introduction of Markdown. But BBcode doesn't support line breaks. There could be a workaround (seen on an Ubuntu forum): try "[br]x[/br]". I'd rather not test by myself on my caches where "press enter" is still working... Tell us if this workaround does the trick! (See next post for solution). If it doesn't, another solution is to use lists : [list] [*]Text before line break. [*]Text after line break. [/list] Again, this is currently working on my caches' waypoints.

Bonjour, Franchement, de nos jours, il est devenu très difficile de faire fonctionner le plugin communicator. Sur la partie anglaise de ce forum, le consensus général est de proposer de passer soit par le nouveau système spécifiquement développé pour Garmin (il faut alors que Garmin Express soit installé sur l'ordinateur), soit de passer par les Pocket Queries qui te génèreront des fichiers GPX dans un fichier ZIP. Tu peux aussi télécharger les fichiers GPX un par un. Il suffit ensuite de copier les fichiers GPX dans le dossier du même nom sur ton GPS (il se trouve dans un dossier nommé GARMIN). Je crois (si j'ai bien compris la question) que la réponse dépend de détails qui n'ont pas été précisés. L'itinéraire souhaité est-il une route (c'est-à-dire un tracé avec indication de directions) à destination d'un GPS ? Si oui quelle sorte de GPS (voiture, randonnée, application pour smartphone, ...) ? Sinon, qu'est-ce qu'un itinéraire ? Ensuite, l'itinéraire doit-il être précis à la cache près ou bien s'agit-il seulement de permettre de rejoindre une zone dans laquelle des caches sont à chercher ? A priori, sans connaître les réponses à ces questions, je crois que j'utiliserais l'application fournie avec mon GPS de randonnée et qui permet de se préparer des itinéraires (Garmin Base Camp) mais je ne crois pas que le processus serait entièrement automatisable. J'ai bien peur de ne pas pouvoir être plus précis et de ne pas être d'une grande aide.

If I read well, you have to take a photo with your GPS or your feet, not at your feet. So it shouldn't be an issue, except for the case where you don't have any foot either (this is a T1 cache, so it has to be considered).

Ma favorite is GC6T3J9 Déambulations géologiques dans Strasbourg (geological wandering in Strasbourg). It is really atypical because it leads you in several places at the very center of a town (Strasbourg, France). It's amazing to discover very old stones nobody will suspect on some buildings' frontage. Here is the beginning of the description of the cache:

Suite à ton message, j'ai douté un peu... Mais finalement j'ai reçu une notification pour une multi lundi matin et pour une letterbox hybrid ce matin. Ça a l'air de marcher. Peut-être une question de rayon dans les paramètres de la notification ? Je reçois les messages à propos des caches que je suis, également.
